    A tough one to review as it was clean, staff excellent, good area room spacious but the mattress from hell. Literally layed on it and sunk, very difficult to roll over. But as I said everything else was okay. For the mattress comfort I doubt if I would return. But to be fair someone else might really enjoy that type of mattress

    We tried two rooms: the standard and the Junior suite. The Junior suite can definitely make your stay more comfortable: it has a bigger area, a lounge and a balcony. The toilet and bathroom is more premium too. However, both have the 'too-soft' mattress that sitting on the bed is not practical as you'll sink. If you have back problems this can be an issue. Some TVs don't work properly, the one on the standard has no channels and youtube keeps restarting. While on the Junior suite, TV channels were working properly but the TV display itself has this LED damaged lines. On check-in, there seems to be confusion in their system as we were given a key to an already occupied room which would have been awkward to the guests already staying there. Eventually this was sorted out. Aside from a few issues, this place has plenty of positives: walking distance to the lake, numerous good restaurants nearby (eg try the Family Ramen!) and a bus stop to the Noi Bai airport is right at the front (we took this and saved money on taxis). The staff (they rotate) are all friendly and willing to help you.
