Home from home.

The whole house was so well designed to accommodate up to 4 people. Careful thought had been taken to make the guests welcome and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom/shower full on.

Lovely cottage the location was excellent.

Lovely cottage, the location was excellent Veterinary Referral Hospital, our family dog was going for treatment each morning. As the cottage was in a quite location it was ideal for our dog to spend tome recovering. While our 2 young children enjoyed the countryside.

Lovely stay at river bank close to city

We had a lovely time at the cottage! It was clean and there were lots of little details that made us feel welcome and cared for. We all loved the layout and it was exactly the cosy stay we had hoped for just on the outskirts of the city.

Really nothing to complain, would certainly recommend and return. Thanks a lot!

Excellent holiday home

The garden right on the river was a beautiful way to spend the morning having a coffee watching the wildlife. The house was very well equipped with plenty tea and coffee options. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The cooling fan in the master room was very well received. We used the cottage as a base to explore Bristol mainly. The bus stop was approximately 3-5min walk (with no hills) and the buses were every 30mins. I have recommended to friends and family as it was certainly one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in.

Practically Perfect In Every way!

Wow what an absolutely beautiful cottage, perfectly located overlooking the river! Very clean inside and everything there you could possibly need. The little extras were lovely and so well thought out! We will be back. The underfloor heating was ingenious!

Wonderful location - supurb views of the River Avon, and easy to reach walks for the dog. Pretty and well-stocked garden. Close for us to visit our daughter in Abbots Leigh.

Lovely cottage convenient for Bristol and surroundings.

Great location for visiting Bristol and the surrounding area. Comfortable quirky cottage.

The steps up into the patio entrance and the gate at the top of them were not great. My husband fell down the stairs onto the grassy area outside the property the first time we left the property. Fortunately, apart from grass stained trousers and being a bit shaken, he was not hurt. Could do with the gate being more sturdy and a hand rail down the side of the stairs.

A cosy cottage in a unique location

Great views from the property with a pretty little garden ideal for summer evenings. Cottage has every amenity so you want for nothing.

Shame that the property has no parking of its own. Not a great fan of leaving my car on the road and a risk of blocking in one of the residents. In the heat of summer this cottage will be exceptionally warm upstairs so thank god for the fan provided!

Very beautiful little cottage right by the river. Well furnished and stocked (save some essentials that were strangely missing). Great walks nearby.

Although generally the house was well stocked, we were surprised to find that no toilet paper, kitchen roll or shampoo was there. Make sure you bring such supplies along when visiting.

Good location, tidy house great for the four of us. Most things provided.

Difficult access especially if you have physical disabilities. Paid a lot for a short stay. Disappointed with the cleanliness in the kitchen especially as we couldn't gain access until 4.00pm and this was apparently due to cleaning for covid which we had to pay for. Storage space was limited if you were staying longer than a weekend.

highly recommended, lovely property in a lovely area, very close to all the best bits of Bristol.

location was excellent. parking good and lovely little quiet village. in early December in particular it had an amazing Xmas vibe. everything in the property was immaculate and nothing had been overlooked. the most well appointed rental we have ever stayed in. even made our own entertainment, trying to find something that the owners had neglected to provide or hadn’t thought about. we didn’t find anything!

unloading of car was a minor irritation as couldn’t get too close to the property. tv was a little too small but these are really minor points on what was a really good property rental.

We were not on holiday having building work done, interesting staying elsewhere.

IT's a fine place, bit small but great for the dog. lots of lovely walks. Hosts very nice and we extended out stay. They gave a free clean in the middle. would recommend. lovely views and lots of birds. lots of good info and photos in the house.

Just a bit small, would have liked Sky TV not just freeview.
