Maple House

The house was very comfortable, easy to locate, and had convenient street parking available. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. The kitchen was also very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and feel at home during our stay.

The only significant drawback was the lack of access to a dryer. Given England's unpredictable weather, a washing machine alone is often not sufficient. There were dryers on the property, but they were kept locked and unavailable for guest use, which I found unusual. When I enquired about access to a dryer, my message unfortunately went unanswered.

Lovely size house and great communication with the host. Clear instructions. Great to have parking with the house as is at a premium in this area. Excellent base for exploring central Bristol, by walking and bus too. Brilliant to back on to a park area with a play park, and shop within 5-10mins walk. Very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Driveway parking was a huge bonus. Great amount of space for a large family - including enough sofa seating for 6! Very clean and well presented. Well equipped kitchen.

Lovely spacious home. Quiet suburban street and close to cricket ground. Off street parking excellent.For a family staying would be great property. Owners good to contact - we were only staying two nights so there was nothing that we let bother us and just let owners know of issues which they seemed unaware of.

Cleaning was not good. Bench top and dining table "sticky". Put a plate on table and prise it off. Professional cleaners not doing very good job at all. We arrived to find rear laundry room like a steam room and water puddles on floor as dryer had been left on. Shocked to see light fitting hanging off ceiling in downstairs toilet and wiring exposed. Cleaners should have advised owners. Hot weather and polyester sheets not the best but property obviously geared toward families - hence child/dog gate on top stair. Finally owner sending message suggesting what review score should be. If a property has issues then others should know. I would not usually write a review as lengthy as this.
