Very happy we chose Ballygally Seaview cottage.

We loved the location, such a fantastic sea view. There was plenty of space for a family of 5. The house was nicely decorated, cosy and relaxing. The hosts were helpful and friendly and provided useful local information. Would definitely visit again.

Exceptional beyond compare

What can I say? This cottage is amazing! Everything about it was perfect, from its uniqueness to the personal touches that were added by Chris and Julie. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience myself and my daughter had over the past few days at your cottage . We feel totally blessed to have discovered the cottage and to have stayed in such a beautiful and serene place too. We will definitely be back to stay again, really soon.

The location was hard to beat with great views of the sea and a lovely large deck.

Awesome location, loved the deck overlooking the water. Spacious, clean, well-equipped.

Communication glitches. Heating a bit hard to regulate and issues with front door lock. Too many instructions about the bins. Even as hardcore recyclers we found it a challenge to follow!

Excellent views, old house with some issues

Views were amazing, hosts were very responsive and helpful

Lots of personal belongings in the house which was abit awkward, very quirky layout. House was hard to heat which meant drying clothes very difficult. We also came back from a day out and the front door was wide open, there was a storm ongoing and it had a blown open which was worrying as all our personal belongings and passports were inside. Thankfully nothing was gone but it requires someone to be inside and someone outside in order to get the door closes tight. We had to use back exit and go round house until it was fixed. Owner did have it fixed the next day.

Short break with friends - rooms with a view

The view is amazing, both from the terrace and from the living room with its large windows. We loved the individual style of the apartment - it is very warm and welcoming, with lots of places to relax and enjoy the view.

We were only there one night and had no complaints.

It was a beautiful cottage in BallyGally.. the views are absolutely incredible. The decor isn't to everyone's taste but its absolutely fine and made it comfy and welcoming. Lots of produce in the cupboards to use which was lovely. All on one single floor which was amazing. It is a lot bigger than the pictures do it justice! We had a lovely stay :)

It just isn't that clean, a lot of cobwebs especially in the shower - I looked up when washing my hair and worried a spider may land on me!! A little smelling of damp but it didn't effect our stay at all. The beds are not that comfy either but again it didn't affect our sleep.

The views from the balcony are absolutely amazing and the cottage is very spacious and quirky!

The hot water tap in kitchen had a poor flow so we had to fill the sink from the bath but that’s being picky as we had practically everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic coastal views and a lovely place to stay

We had a fantastic week here. The perfect location to explore the coast and the terrace views are amazing. It’s a real home from home with quirky decor that really suits the coastal setting. The owners were very helpful and told us everything we needed before we arrived and were contactable if we had any problems, which we didn’t. We had everything we needed and there’s a shop and pub close by. Missing the view and my morning coffee on the terrace already, would definitely come back.

Nothing really. There’s no live TV. We didn’t mind at all and we were told this before we arrived. There’s good WiFi and plenty of streaming options instead.

We loved the location and the views. We were amazed at the amount of space we had. There was everything we needed to make ourselves comfy and at home. It was great.

The property was chilly when we arrived, but our hosts soon told us how to turn the heating on so we soon got cosy. It would be nice if the timer came on so the house was warm when we arrived. It wasn't a problem, just a comment.
