Comfortable apartment with stunning sea views

What a gorgeous apartment overlooking the sea. The apartment was spacious with everything we needed for a comfortable home from home. Parking was a paid car park right outside the front, and the apartment was easy to find. Wetherspoons is conveniently close, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from the comfort of our armchairs before heading out for the day.

I only wish we had stayed longer. Its a lovely place

Excellent location, many shops around, beautiful view, not too far from Belfast city. The apartment was cosy and had everything we could’ve needed, also a lovely gesture they left a snack basket upon arrival. Much appreciated.

Nothing major everything was great but unfortunately at the time of our stay the fireplace wasn’t working.

Fabulous stay for mums 65th birthday.

Absolutely everything, location extremely close to the town centre and beautiful surroundings. Charlene the owner was every so helpful and kept us up to date on everything we needed to know for our wonderful stay. Overlooking Carrick castle and the sea what more could you ask for? Honestly wish we booked in for longer, extremely modern & spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Beautifully decorated and an open plan living room with smart tv/WiFi. Highly recommend if you haven't stayed here before!

One of our favourite and memorable places we stayed in our whole UK & Ireland holiday!

Lovely styling and decor. Fantastic view from top floor, always interesting things happening on harbour. Perfect relaxed location away from the busy life of Belfast, within a block or two of the supermarket and some great restraurants (you must try Ownies!). Close to train station with easy 15 min ride into city if you need it. Some facinating history to explore with old town walls and Carrickfergus Castle accross the road which is well worth making some time to explore - you have the luxury of viewing it from the apartment and timing your visit between tour buses!

Bit of a funky smell in entrance bottom floor (probably due to wheelie bin storage under stairs). Situated next to main road so a bit noisy with windows open - they are double-glazed so very quiet when shut but we had them open mostly to keep room cool as there's no air-con. Pigeons are nesting inside ceiling space above living area which may freak some people out. There's a LOT of narrow stairway to haul bulky luggage up - less able-bodied folk would find it challenging.

What a view!

Terrific apartment in a brilliant location with phenomenal views. Loved the really comfortable seats in the window, which allowed us to just sit, relax, and take in the views of the water and Carrickfergus Castle. Lovely touches by the owner with a welcome basket and water in the fridge. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back again very soon. K.

The apartment had everything you’d need for staying a few days, can’t beat the location for the restful seaside feel (plus the view on Carrickfergus castle!), and the premises were nicely remodeled.

Nothing that bothered us but just be aware that there’s the coastal highway just down the flat (as shown on pictures) and you’re still very close to Belfast, so it’s quite busy until about 8pm

The view was beautiful. A great place to look out over. I wasn't sure about the immediate location when we pulled up but parking was straightforward and once we got inside, the place was beautifully furnished. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a relaxing and calming space. The snacks were appreciated by the kids too!

I wasn't sure about the immediate vicinity of the building, and the immediate area, but once we got inside the apartment and looked out, the view was stunning. Also, a small thing, I would have really appreciated some milk to make a cuppa, I forgot to bring some!

A family apartment a Gem in Carrick.

The apartment was clean tidy beautiful decorated and had lovely touches like a welcome basket much appreciated. Hosts were easy to contact friendly and it's close to shops, restaurants and the castle great location. They had a cot in the apartment for the baby a bonus points.

Stairs as my children didn't like to climb them each time during our stay due to their mobility issues. But was okay for us adults.

The Apartment was amazing from the minute we arrived from how clean it was to how inviting it was with the basket of treats for the kids, the essentials in the apartment coffee,tea etc the comfort of everything was second to none & the view over the marina was amazing . every thing ,could no believe how clean this , an the views were stunning ,looking over the sea and Carrickfergus castle in the back ground was so nice ,if it was 1 to what would i give ,then it would be 14 ,and thats the truth ,we have stayed in a few places around ? even said we wouldn't go any where els than the premier inn carrick ? don/t get me wrong we like the premier inn ,but if we had to choose it would be Tranquil tides all the way ,for price as well would be tranquil tides as it put carick premier inn to shame ,there prices were shocking ,and thats one thing we don't like, is bumping up 3 or 4 times the price just becouse theres some thing on , so would def recommend this tranquil tides to any one ,for price and comfort ,and the view ,it was one o off the best places i have stayed ,and will def stay here again before any other place in Belfast ,going to try and book for another few stays this year but def trying for same time next year ,but its so good there i dont think we will get in as its a stunning place ,i really shouldn't be saying to much about how good it is then other people will find out how good it is ,Because they might get in first ,any way a big thanks for the lovely time we had xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 14 stars

Très belle vue sur la mer et le château de Carrickfergus du très agréable salon, bel appartement bien équipé et belle décoration. Très bonne disponibilité et indications de l'hôte pour trouver l'appartement (car au départ l'adresse indiquée et entrée dans le GPS ne correspondait pas au lieu, elle nous emmenait bien plus loin sur la même avenue)
