An awesome stay

The location is central and close to a lot of attractions. The welcome basket was such a sweet gesture. The kitchen was well stocked. There were beach toys as well for the kids. Overall a great place to stay!

If I had to pick, the lock to the back sliding door was not working and it took them 2 days to fix.

Home away from home in a Hawaiian paradise - adventure, rest, & relaxation was just what we needed!

We immediately felt so welcomed when we stepped into the living room with Hawaiian treats, coffee, chocolates, and a lovely card from the owner. Check in, parking, and wifi information was given the day before arrival and everything went smoothly with no issues at all. The location was perfect - we had our own private paradise with Poipu Beach only 5 minutes away. Be sure to admire the sea turtles (from a safe distance) around 6pm at Poipu Beach! We were able to explore each coastline of the island since we were situated so well! We were even able to watch whales jump and dance out in the ocean from the comfort of our porch! Our lodging was spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom had everything we needed, and there were even extra fold out chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels, and a mini cooler in the bathroom closet. Since Poipu Beach was so close, we even managed to get an incredible snorkel sesh in before we showered and checked out for the airport. We will definitely be staying here again in the future, hopefully with some friends and family!

The ONLY slight inconvenience was that you could hear people in other units flushing their toilets, using the showers, or anything having to do with the water source. It woke me up a couple of times but other than that there was nothing else that didn't exceed expectations. I'm definitely still staying here in the future!

Amazing value and location; building and attention to detail inside the unit were lacking.

Great value and lovely location. The people on the property were amazingly nice and went out of there way to see if you needed anything.

There was a 'resort fee' but the property consisted of the building and parking lot (which is fine but does not make a resort). Kitchen was not well stocked - red pepper flakes, olive oil and non-stick spray were the only things there. Lots of noise from the plumbing.

Exceptional

keyless entry made check in very easy. Great location and easy to access units. Well supplied unit in terms of towels, dishes, beach equipment etc. Well furnished, walking distance to beach access and restaurants

official check-in and check-out times were late/early. 4pm check-in and 10am check-out are worse than most hotels and make logistics difficult if you're trying to maximize the number of days of vacation you have

We could not get into the property with the codes provided for the key pad and we had to call for help and not enough beach towels. We had to do laundry to get fresh ones. The dishwasher smelled like fish for some reason.

even though advertised as airconditioned it was not. i would not have paid $750 for two nights in a steam bath. Half of the floor fans in unit didn't work. and i couldn't get the door to the patio open.

Kaua'i war schon schön

Lage auf der Insel im Süden und am Wasser an sich prima und traumhaft! Da wir im Erdgeschoss waren, traf uns das Straßenschild, dass wir in der Tsunamigefahrenzone liegen, sehr. Wir waren dann erst recht nicht mehr entspannt, als am nächsten Morgen unsere Handys um 5 Uhr einen Alarm absetzten. Dieser betraf uns letztendlich nicht (sondern die Nordküste), aber wie gesagt, wir waren nicht mehr so entspannt. Wohnung sehr geräumig.Küche gut ausgestattet.

Die Klimaanlagen funktionierten nicht. Kein Personal vor Ort. Badewanne könnte modernisiert werden. Im Vor- und Nachhinein UNMENGEN an eMails von der Unterkunft erhalten und wir mussten extra die App Vacasa runterladen. Am letzten Abend wollten wir uns entsprechend der Infos online auschecken. Da hieß es dann, wir müssten noch die Hälfte zahlen. Das ganze Überlegen hat uns ca. 2 Stunden gekostet und fast den letzten Abend auf Kaua'i versaut. Weder booking.com noch die Unterkunft haben uns bis heute eine Erklärung o.ä.gegeben. Nur ein Freund aus Deutschland hatte uns an dem Abend geholfen, da ihm etwas Ähnliches mal in Österreich passiert war: Höchstwahrscheinlich hat booking.com die Hälfte der Buchung erst nach dem Aufenthalt an die Unterkunft freigegeben.
