One of the few right on the water properties in Poipu. Instantly relaxing. Turtles visible most afternoons. Visit nearby market Wednesday afternoons for incredible pies and pastries.

We had an incredible stay at this location! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the beach is just about 1.5 steps away. Poipu was our favorite spot for snorkeling, 1.5 mikes and renting gear from Boss Frogs (just around the condo) made it super easy. Enjoying breakfast from the balcony with those ocean views was unforgettable.To save a little money, we picked up some essentials at Costco—including their amazing coffee—and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. There were chairs for sitting outside to watch the most beautiful sunsets, and even an umbrella to take to the beach. The bed was very comfortable, and the condo provided shampoo and conditioner and way more stuff. For convenience, there’s also a Longs Drugs store nearby that has everything you could need at very reasonable prices.One tip: if you like to wash everything before you leave (like my girlfriend does), there’s a laundry area on the 3rd floor so you don’t have to run around town looking for detergent or change. We even left a few extras behind for the next guests to enjoy.Overall, we felt completely relaxed and refreshed—this place was the perfect reset button. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for providing such a fantastic place to stay!

Clean well cared for condo in the best location on the south shore. Well stocked with all the necessities and helpful items like ice chests and water toys. Feels more like a home than just another vacation rental. Saw turtles every day and a pair of stingrays honeymooning. Would definitely stay again

Wow! We voted this as the best view of any place we've stayed. The condo is beautiful and we loved being so close to everything. We enjoyed watching the turtles and spotted eagle rays in the cove. Highly recommend!

Great location and loved our morning coffee with views of the bay watching turtles feed. The layout of the condo is perfect for a couple to stay. King bed, double bath sinks, and AC if you want it were very convenient. We used the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler from the condo each beach day.

We had a wonderful week here celebrating our 25th anniversary! The condo was in an excellent area that was close to so many different things we wanted to do and the views, layout and cleanliness of the condo was perfect for us! Just a short 5-7 minute drive to Poipu beach to see the sea turtles or grab a Puka Dog, lots of restaurant and shopping options under 5 minutes away by car or a short walk and the most surprising thing I didn’t realize is this condo is located right by The Beach House which had the most stunning views of the sunset! So you can watch the sunset from this location without needing dinner reservations! The condo is well stocked with kitchen items if you want to prepare your own meals and also has toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner and body wash all provided which was so nice! We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back on Kaua’i!

We loved our stay at the "Ocean Front Condo" at Kuhio Shores in the Poipu Beach area of Kauai. While the unit does not face the open ocean, it looks out onto a small bay and you can hear waves crashing on the rocks. You can see the open ocean from the lanai which is large and furnished with a bar table/stools on one side and comfy chairs with foot stools on the other. The unit is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need - iron/ironing board, ice chests, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella. The kitchen is large, clean and well stocked with everything you might need to cook and clean. I would suggest the addition of a dish drying rack, but that was the only missing thing I could think of. The bed was very comfortable and the building was very quiet. We'd definitely come back!

Very good experience. The view was wonderful, turtles and even a shark in the cove a few feet away. The small terrace was a great place to relax. Only one negative, the carpet in the bedroom is very moldy. The smell knocks you back.

For the price and location, we really enjoyed our stay. The condo could use some updating, but it wasnt bad. Id say overall its between a 4 and 5 star rating, except for the entrance door. There was no deadbolt, chain, or any way for my wife to feel safe at night. The The location and view were fantastic, only real complaint would be the entrance door

Kuhio Shores is an amazing building and this unit was no exception! You are a 5-minute drive from Poipu Beach and literally right next to Kawai Beach (the two main beaches in Poipu and two of the most beautiful in the world (in our humble opinion)). In particular, this unit was very clean, well-stocked and furnished, and the check-in/out process had reasonable expectations and was very easy. We HIGHLY recommend this building and this unit to anyone staying in the Poipu area!

This was a lovely location with an amazing view of the ocean. The balcony was a great place to have my morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The condo was perfectly stocked. It also had a small ice chest that we used almost every day on our outings.

Extremely well stocked and supplied condo in a fabulous location. The kitchen has anything and everything you need to cook and pack lunches. The bed and pillows were 10/10 comfortable and the linens were high end. The view from the lanai is wonderful for sunrise, and for sunset you just have to walk to the other side of the property. This was a very nice condo, with a beautiful ocean view. It actually looks better in person, than it does in the pictures! It was also a great location and was very convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. When we arrived, there was only an AC working in the bedroom. After we contacted the Owner, he arranged to have another portable AC unit installed the next day. We were initially disappointed with the lack of AC in the rest of the condo, but we appreciated how quickly the Owner responded with the second AC. Overall, it was a really nice stay!

Our unit was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. The explanation of the AC wasn't clear and do need it more than 1 hour a day in late May. Also, dishwasher didn't work but not a big deal for us since we didn't use many dishes. Loved the sunrises and we like turtles!

Beautiful view. Saw a few turtles swimming near the shore. We slept well to the sound of waves throughout the night. Arrived slightly earlier than planned and owner was very accommodating and quickly responded when asked if we could have a slightly earlier checkin. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful visit. We’ve stayed on the other side of the building on previous visits so this was the first time we’ve enjoyed watching the sunrises and the sea turtles in the bay. The property was not as clean as other properties we have been to, but not bad. The view out into the small bay and next to the waves crashing onto the rocks was awesome. This is one of the spots to see sea turtles and we did just below our room. He was in the rocks feeding, so that was definitely a high point. Close to all the restaurants and shopping. It was a good stay, would definitely think about coming back.
