Condo was exactly as expected based on the listing. Balcony facing the ocean was perfect for relaxing, eating and watching the sun rise. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Parking was easy and convenient.

We loved our recent stay. Everything as advertised in the listing..stunning views, well stocked kitchen and beach supplies, lots of turtles in the bay to watch. I stayed in the bedroom (and enjoyed the AC) and my daughter used the sofa bed so she could enjoy the breeze and listen to the ocean. We were both happy! We enjoyed having the Beach House Restaurant and smoothie/shaved Ice stand within walking distance. There's also a very nice shopping complex with multiple restaurants and stores just a half mile up the road.The location on the island very central and allowed us to get to Waimea and to the north island easily. I would definitely stay here again.

This condo was a peaceful retreat, just steps from the ocean. Each morning brought stunning sunrises and a gentle breeze, best enjoyed from the lanai with coffee in hand. The space is ideal for two—efficiently designed and warmly furnished. The kitchen was a standout: full-sized oven, stainless steel fridge with filtered water and ice maker, and a dishwasher that made cleanup easy. The living room offered a cozy setup with a full couch and two wicker rockers, perfect for relaxing with Netflix or cable.One note: the scent upon entering was overpowering—floral and acrid, like strong cleaning products. It cleared quickly with the sliding door open, but returned each time we came back in.Aside from that, the stay was wonderful. The owner was impressively responsive and attentive—something I truly appreciated. If you're looking for a quiet, ocean-kissed escape with thoughtful amenities and a host who cares, this is a great choice.

This is a lovely unit; check-in instructions were straightforward and sent 48 hours ahead of time. The unit was 100% as pictured - great views, comfortable, clean, attractive, and fully stocked (and then some). Everything you could possibly need was provided (more than most rentals), and there were basic grocery items for your use (salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee packs, filters, etc.) I would highly recommend this rental and would happily rent from this owner again.

This property has everything you need. Beautiful view, you can walk around the front of the building to watch sunsets with others, very fun! Lots of towels, excellent kitchen with bowls, cookware, all we needed to make good meals. 3 minutes from nice shopping center with great coffee shop, good restaurants. I definitely would return. Water was too rough for me but watched surfers out there crushing it! Lydgate Beach Park was the BEST beach to swim at in the area. Loved it. Plenty of parking, lifeguards, water deep enough to swim in.

My wife and I stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier. Amazing location, spacious unit, comfortable bed, and gorgeous balcony views. The apartment has great beach gear and we only had to rent snorkels and fins from down the street. Laundry is in the building and quarters only, but this wasn’t an issue as we didn’t do laundry. Owner was super communicative and helped us resolve an issue with WiFi. Overall, great place to stay.

We had an amazing visit. We really appreciated the boogie boards and beach chairs (one of them was broken, but considering there were 4 that worked we have no complaints). The view is amazing and the kitchen was full of all the little things one might need (seasoning, ziplock bags, a variety of pans and utensils, etc). Thank you very much!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here and absolutely loved it! The patio is literally just a few yards away from the beach, so we spend a lot of time relaxing and listening to the crashing of the waves. The condo was clean and it had beach chairs, an umbrella, and other gear that came in handy. Walking distance to restaurants, a drugstore, and some really cool shops. Highly recommend!

The condo matched the description. Kuhio Shores is a perfect place to stay. It’s quiet and close to many beaches and restaurants. The unit was well furnished and had everything we needed for a wonderful 10 day vacation. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view from the lanai is lovely. Highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights in Kauai and now currently over in Maui for a family trip celebrating a birthday. It’s myself, my wife and my 2 boys ages 6 & 8. We had a great time in Kauai. Definitely recommend this property! Check in/out instructions were simple and clear, and overall it was just a very easy stay. The condo was clean and well supplied; we appreciated having filters for our morning coffee and it was great to not need to rent beach chairs/Boogie Boards. The bed and linens were very comfortable and our daughter slept on the pull out with no complaints! The balcony view is incredible and we loved being able to hear the ocean. The complex itself is quiet and everyone was respectful and friendly. Laundry is convenient and the 3rd floor laundry room has a money exchange for quarters.

Bob was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We had flight delays and cancellations when leaving the island, and Bob allowed us to check out late which was very helpful. Never got the email for checkin to get code. Had to call vrbo which was hard to find phone number. They said code might be in spam but was not. Vrbo was able to call owners and owner answered but if owner had not answered i don’t know what we would have done. Communication from vrbo was poor. Unit is well equiipted. Tv was an issue as we never got it to work correctly. Great view and unit was lovely.

We really enjoyed staying here. It's the perfect size, and great location. It was clean, well cared for, and well thought out. The dark grey-green tile in the shower, was so pretty, and love the dining and floor lamps. We'd definitely consider this place again, a future trip.

Loved our stay. Would highly recommend and we intend to rebook during our next trip if there ever is one. Place was stocked with beach gear and kitchen essentials (that we didn’t use but noticed). One thing I would comment is the sheet smelled musky. Like they were left in the washer too long before being dried. However can’t complain because it looked clean. Thank you!!! We hope to be back.

The listing is exactly as pictured and described. We stayed for 5 nights and loved having coffee on the lanai, being able to walk to Lawa'i Beach, and having a ton of great restaurants within an easy 15-minute walk. We appreciated the A/C in the bedroom and living room and having a full kitchen was especially helpful when prepping for day-long adventures. We would love to stay again!
