Amazing views, very spacious throughout the cabin. Plenty of room to get 5 of us ready for a wedding. Had hairdresser and make up artist set up. Very roomy.
Lights on veranda didn’t work, prob just need bulb changed and a few lights in the cabin didn’t work but wasn’t anything that would stop be going again. Maybe in future just check all lights to make sure they work. No dishwasher. As we were there the night before a wedding and the night of wedding we didn’t really want to wash up etc but I mean it’s not the end of the world.

The lodge is excellent, we have stayed in many log cabins, half of them are glorified caravans. The this is a very comfortable spacious cabin which was very relaxing. It is by far the best one we have stayed in. Mel and Keith were excellent hosts. Cannot recommend enough.
The kitchen is well equipped, but could not find a garlic crusher.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas and were lucky to get it booked at short notice. The cabin is very spacious and clean with great amenities. We had our elderly mum for the stay who needs a lot of warmth and the cabin was toasty. We also have a dog who is very wary of other dogs/people and there was plenty garden space to walk him without distraction. The proprietors equipped us with milk and nice biscuits and the cabin was decorated with decorations for Christmas, it was very thoughtful!
The decking was a little slippy at the time of year (winter). I will bring grippier shoes next time! Really not a big issue for most people though.

It’s hard to find dog friendly places. The space inside the lodge was perfect.. bigger than any lodge I have stayed in. The lodge is very cosy and traditional. Lovely garden around the lodge to look out window. Quiet area and beds were comfy. Brochures given for walking routes around the area which was good.

Lovely spacious lodge which was really clean and well presented. Very quiet location but could walk to pub, although we didn't end up doing that. Friendly, helpful hosts. Great to have the summer house with comfy couch and loads of dvds too.
Nothing to complain about. Didn't use the WiFi so can't comment on it.

The property is set on a beautiful location allows for great views and a feel of isolation at night, very relaxing.
The cabin was well equipped and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us to live comfortably for the two days.
There was the option to use a small summerhouse as well that was equipped with a DVD player and a great selection of movies.
The town of Blairgowrie was slightly underwhelming but would most likely provide a quiet getaway for a family or some older folk.

The lodge was in a beautiful location, there was ample parking outside the lodge and the lodge itself was clean, spacious and well equipped.
The owners were lovely and friendly, they gave us some very good advice and tips on some of our visits to nearby places.
Nothing all good!

The lodge was spacious indoor and out. Gorgeous decor, plenty of cups, glasses, plates etc provided added extras like milk in the fridge, teabags, salt/pepper available. Bedding and towels provided, laundry room next to cabin. A short walk to town

Keith & Mel made us feel home from home as Fir Lodge was warm and inviting with Christmas lights. They even left fresh milk plus tea & coffee and delicious shortbread and after an 8 hour drive very welcome. The location is ideal as it feels rural so only heard the owls at night but only a few minutes drive from Blairgowrie. Excellent WiFi and with 4 students needing good broadband it wasn't a problem.
Really nothing comes to mind. Perhaps a log burning stove but the Lodge kept so warm it wasn't because we were cold!

The facilities were good, proprietor was lovely & made us feel very welcome. Lovely extra touches as she supplied fresh milk, tea, coffee & biscuits. Washing up facilities were also provided. We would definitely stay here again for a long wkend.
Road into site had a lot of pot holes & very bumpy. TV didn't have a great reception but we weren't too bothered as we were out & about most of the time.1

Good central location for the places we wished to visit. Owners were very friendly and engaging. Very quiet and relaxing but near enough the town when required. A very nice place to stay.
