B&B Al Fronte del Porto

It's a big old apartment transformed in B&B with several bedrooms, 2 share bathrooms and a little kitchen. Very clean apartment, big bedrooms. Wifi OK. Breakfast OK. Leonardo was very welcoming and friendly and gives you good advices.

No AC, the host installed a lot of fans everywhere but with 35C outside it was still hot in the room. The apartment is on the 4th floor without lift. I did not like the share bathroom (but they were perfectly clean). The kitchen is too small if several guests want to take the breakfast at same time. Not the best location, very noisy with a lot of traffic, strange people and prostitution in the street. Hard to find a free place to park.

I like that it was close to the cruise terminal, it was a clean place all over though the doors and furniture looked old and worn out. I liked that was well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom.

I didn't like that it has no elevator and there are 90 stairs to go up and again 90 to go down. It is very difficult to climb those stairs even without luggage, and a lot more with it. Matteo was there and very nice to help us carry the luggage for me and my elderly mother. I do not recommend the place for people with health issues , the stairs are atrocious. The toilet seats really needed to be changed as they were old but clean. Breakfast was very simple, just bread, croissant, jam ,butter and yogurt. No egg, cheese or salami.

The room with the best view in Genova and Leonardo our host was most friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this B&B!
