Wish we booked elsewhere.

Seems like a well equipped provider. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pillows are reasonable.

The reservation booking was for 1x large double bed, and 1x single bed. When we arrived we had a sofa instead of the single bed. Their response was “yes it can be a single bed too”. Other rooms were listed to have a sofa bed which is what this clearly is… but rather than owning issue, the manager doubles down and say “oh yeah, you’re not the only one who has this problem, others have complained about this too”…. 🤦‍♂️ So rather than preventing this from happening, they just suggested we cancel our reservation at check in after 5 hours of travel and having no immediate back up options. It deserved 1 star in my option, but in fairness, this very specific so to this case. So maybe you’ll strike it lucky? Other notes - they blast bright white lights outside that can’t be turned off and the rooms are equipped with the worst curtains known to mankind in the room. Bring an eye mask if if don’t want to be trying rest lights shining in your eyes.

Manggis Garden

Beautiful spot with lovely views . It was also very clean .The bed was so comfortable. Unfortunately I could only stay one night. But good value for money and one of the nicest places I have stayed in Bali.

I didn't end up staying at the facility, mainly due to transportation issues.

The food was wonderful, and the view from the mountain is spectacular! The room's are quite large and have a great shower and bathroom.

Two things: A) No A/C - the booking website said they have air conditioning, but they only have ceiling fans. My room was unbelievably hot when I arrived, and I felt a bit nervous I wouldn't be able to get a good night sleep. B) Transportation Issues. When I arrived, I tried ordering a Grab or GoJek to take me to dinner by the beach, but neither service will actually come to the very remote space that this facility sits within. I spoke with management, and they told me I would have no ability to get a taxi or Grab to pick me up. I took a GoJek car from Canggu to get here, so I was essentially unable to leave the resort, as it's not walking distance from anything. I ended up having to get a staff member to drive me to a different hotel, and I ended up staying at a different hotel by the coast to ease the burden of needing transportation.

Very disappointing.

Very noisy due to the proximity to the road and construction starting at 8:00 a.m. in the bungalow just beside mine... Food expensive and barely acceptable, no wi-fi in the rooms and poor in the reception/restaurant area... My stay was blessfully short and very disappointing.

Great location, facilities and meals

Very nice view. Dinner and breakfast were very good. We could enjoy a Legong Dance performance just for us. The owner gave very good advices about what to visit nearby. Thank you!

It's a lovely place, with lovely people, and excellent food.

Beautiful location, high in the hills of eastern Bali. Lovely climate, and lovely staff, who provided excellent home cooking. Interesting views and cultural highlights (such as a large Hindu temple) but needed to hire a car and guide to benefit from these. Small onsite swimming pool, and great viewpoints from the resort.

It's so far off the beaten track it's almost impossible to find. My taxi driver almost gave up in despair.(however, it's worth the effort). Unfortunately geckos in the chalet roof defecate above the bed, and these little packages were often found on the sheets. There are no restaurants or entertainments nearby, and the internet is quite flaky. However, it's hard to beat as a 'get away from it all' break.

Estaba muy bieeen, personal muy amable, nos bajaron al pueblo para alquilar moto porque en el alojamiento no tenían , y las habitaciones cómodas y limpias.

Vue et accueil au top

Superbe vue, on a adoré l’atmosphère de ce lieu charmant et relaxant. Super hôte tellement sympa, qui a pris le temps de nous aider avec les transports vers Lombok et avec les activités d’une journée dans les environs de Manggis. Merci !

Logement au top

L’endroit est très bien situé, en plein milieu de la jungle. Même si on est éloigné et qu’il n’y a pas de moyens de locomotion, il y a un resto sur place très bon midi et soir. Le cadre est superbe Le staff très gentil Ps la peine de Clim le soir la fraîcheur vient à point nommé. Je recommande fortement

La seule petite chose: la chambre que nous avions ne donnait pas directement sur la vallée et la mer, mais sur la route. Mais c’est peut être dû au fait que nous voulions une chambre 3 personnes et qu’il n’y avait rien d’autre. Sinon tou était parfait

L'odeur d'humidité dans le logement ( la dame est venue rapidement avec des encens et parfums ) constante venant de la salle de bain Malgré les rideaux, il fait jour au petit matin Petit déjeuner "complet" pas assez complet à mon goût, manque un peu d'aliments solides et jus de fruit non inclus

Hôtel sympa géré par un français en pleine montagne

Complexe hôtelier dans les montagnes un peu éloigné de la côte et des sites touristiques mais géré par un français... c'est pratique. Joli, un peu dans son jus. Nous avons demandé pour louer un scooter, ils nous l'ont mis à disposition. Possibilité de déjeuner sur place et c'est très bon. Obligation d'avoir un scooter pour se déplacer avec une route qui grimpe fortement.

Le bungalow individuel bien aménagé et décoré, au coeur d'un écrin de verdure. Le super petit dejeuner avec baguette fraiche et faite maison, le repas également très réussi à des prix très raisonnables. La disponibilité des gérants pour nous conseiller sur les visites et nous trouver un chauffeur. Les échanges avec Bruno, puit d'informations sur Bali et bien d'autres destinations!

Nous n’avons pas eu de chance avec le temps, grosse pluie toute la nuit et la journée, donc pas de trekking comme prévu, ni de piscine pour nous, mais avons profité d'une journée de visites culturelle grâce à la réactivité de la propriétaire. Notre bungalow surplombait la route qui s'est avérée assez passante tôt le.matin et donc bruyante.

Un moment hors du temps !

C’est hors des sentiers battus tout en étant suffisamment central pour voir tous les points d’intérêt environnant. Les photos ne rendent pas justice au lieu qui est vraiment magnifique ! Atypique et coloré ! On était seuls au monde, un réel havre de paix. Sans compter que les hôtes Bruno et sa femme et leur employée Putri sont adorables.
