Quiet and peaceful surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Very clean and comfy beds. Lovely conversion with sky lights and high ceilings to give lots of light. Well equipped and just so peaceful. Highly recommend visiting the Craswall priory which is a delightful 13th century ruin in the middle of nowhere! We wanted to climb the Cat’s Back but too much rain, mist and wind for 4 days; however we were able to read and relax in this delightful house and recharge our batteries! Hosts very amenable.

Great facilities, lovely welcome hamper of local food which was a nice surprise.

Only a very minor point and certainly not a complaint, the master bed is a standard double which is fine but if you're used to a larger sized bed it may feel slightly small.

Wonderfully peaceful. A lovely location. Friendly hosts. Warm welcome. Generous gift basket. Ideal for walks, trips to ancient monuments, etc. Cosy log-burning stove to curl up and read beside, just before Christmas. A delightful stay.

Really good mattresses, well equipped kitchen, good central heating and hot water, lovely wood burner and peaceful and beautiful location. Would visit again.
