Lovely house in a charming town!

Lovely little house a short walk from the bustling town centre. Parking was not a problem. Walking and cycling routes from the doorstep - we didn't use our car whilst we were there! Plenty of places to eat and drink in the town, music in the pubs on a couple of nights. Three supermarkets to stock up on goodies. Cinema and theatre too. Overall, a nice half term break.

Charming house in a quiet and comfortable area.

A very well managed property. All self-catering needs provided for, including coffee, sugar and teabags. Well located on a quiet street less than 10 minutes walk from Abergavenny town centre with amazing mountain views.

Comfortable townhouse in a lovely area.

The townhouse was located close to the town centre and bus terminal. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything needed for a great stay.

Street parking was a little tight at times but not too bad.

Stayed for long weekend but would be a great place come rain or shine to stay longer.

Homely, clean, comfortable and just a short walk to the center of town. Clear instructions and info in guest folder.

Small step into front bedroom was not easy to see. Parking could be an issue but this is outside of the control of the vendor.

Comfortable townhouse in quiet street close to town.

Very comfortable townhouse with all modern facilities. Quiet suburban street within easy walking distance of town. Easy street parking right outside. Jane was very helpful and friendly. Abergavenny had lots of good shops, pubs and restaurants., as well as easy access to numerous walks for fabulous views. We wished that we had stayed longer.

Nice Place to stay in Abergavenny

We had a very nice stay here. The townhouse had everything we needed including comfortable seating, lots of lighting, a thorough house manual, and well equipped kitchen. We especially liked the combination door as it meant we didn’t have to worry about a key. One bedroom is quite large; the second is small. The bathroom is good. We liked the location as it is an easy walk into the center of town. It’s a bit far from the train station (25 minutes), but we enjoy walking, so no problem for us. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We would stay here again.

Wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Excellent location for our purposes. It was my first time driving in the UK and on this side of the road, so I needed something with easy enough parking and access to the motorway/roads outside of town. It was very easy to get in and out of this neighborhood, and even though the road was narrow and parking looked tricky at first, it was very easy and we never had issues finding a spot within a minute’s walk to the flat. The clothes washing machine was great and we made use of the drying rack. Kitchen was great, bedroom was comfortable, shower was nice, etc. No complaints or issues!

Perfect, a home away from home

Warm, quiet, comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Our family of four absolutely loved our stay here! Fun games to play with the kids and an easy walk into town. The hosts were very responsive, accommodating and lovely. Highly recommend, we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Great house: homely and quiet, but only short walk to high street shops

Super house, had absolutely everything you needed. Quiet road, but only a 5-7 min walk to the high street. Freeview TV also had apps such as Netflix (you can use your own Netflix account) BBC IPlayer, etc. And there is a garden to relax in when there’s good weather. Milk and bottle of wine in fridge on arrival much appreciated. Lovely owner was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Back bedroom French blinds didn’t quite close completely, so probably worth putting in an ordinary blackout blind in front of it to use at night so you don’t get woken too early by the light!
