Location was great - probably about 25-30 mins walk from the train station, but only 10 mins to all the shops and restaurants. Having access to a garden was fantastic, particularly in the summer weather! We also loved the amount of thought that the hosts had put into guest safety - a first aid kit, doors that automatically close if a fire is detected, a nightlight that doubles as an LED torch during a power cut, etc. It made us feel like our safety was a top priority for the hosts.
I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like about the house. Pets aren't allowed upstairs in the bedrooms so that may cause issues for some guests, but our dog was perfectly happy to snooze on the cooler floors downstairs (there was a heatwave when we stayed)

Plenty of space and everything supplied that we needed for our stay.
There was no ‘private parking’ as listed in the listing but I could get parked every day on the street.

Absolutely perfect base for our long weekend of adventuring in the hills. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. Entire house was gorgeously decorated, particularly loved the style in the bathroom. Had all the facilities we needed Really clear guide and instructions for everything.
Parking could be a little tricky.
