Recommended B&B for a short stay in Leuven

Nice B&B, well managed and nicely arranged. Room is spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was great, various, with homemade products!

Nothing relevant, the building is not in the city center, but close to the ring, anyway 15min by foot from the main squares of the town.

A beautifully appointed room close to the centre with a sensational breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was literally at the door to welcome us when we arrived. The room was very well appointed and every small detail had been carefully considered. Our breakfast was simply sensational; there was so much to tempt us from bowls of berries, cereals, interesting breads, conserves to myriad plates of cold cuts and cheese. One of the best breakfasts we've ever experienced for sure. The location is great, quiet at night yet close the the centre. There's a lovely community-focused bar (Bar Stan) just a few minutes walk away for those who don't want to venture too far.

Location was good for us, parking provided at reasonable rate, room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Great breakfast choice. Friendly, helpful owner.

The Owner was a perfect host in every way imaginable!

We did not find fault with anything. We were disappointed that most of shops and restaurants were closed on the day we were there!

We loved the room natural lighting, the height ceilings and the decor of the walls. It made me feel young and cosy. At breakfast, our host made sure NOTHING was missing for us to enjoy. We are used to attention to detail, but she exceeded our expectations :).

Amazing stay

I stayed here for 3 nights for business trip (solo travel) and it was amazing. I wish I could stay longer. I would definitely recommend this B&B for: 1. Its great location (near main street but quiet and safe), 2. Friendly and warm host, Steven. 3. Lovely and great breakfast (choices of food). I also tried the homemade chocolate and orange bread puddings, they’re so nice! 4. My room is in the first floor, has access to the balcony, with high ceiling. It is bright and airy. I love room with big windows. The room and bathroom were cleaned everyday. Comfortable double bed. 5. The room has mini bar (espresso maker for capsules, electric kettle, many choices of teas, mini fridge with soft drinks, beers, wines). Two bottles of water were provided daily. I will come back, perhaps for holiday. Thank you, Steven!

A lovely place to stay in a lovely town

The location was good. The room was quiet overnight. Plenty of choice at breakfast, served at one large communal table. The host was very welcoming and friendly and helpful with tips for our visit. It was a lovely old house and there was a small outside terrace - great in good weather.

The en-suite shower room was rather public- it was a glass cube with some curtains to pull round, but you still felt you were sitting on the toilet in the middle of the bedroom. Otherwise, all good.

I would recommend this BNB highly to those who would like an authentic and interesting stay.

The host met and picked us up and was very congenial and interesting. The breakfasts were uniformly excellent and served in a charming room (with candles!). The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The small kitchenette looks very serviceable but we did not need to use it this time.

Be aware that in old houses, the stairways are steep and there is no elevator. Our room also included a steep stair that might give some people a bit of trouble, depending on your age and agility. For this room, a more specific description of the stair situation would help. The other rooms would be easier in general.

We enjoyed the nice bedroom in the authentic townhouse with the high airy ceilings and high windows. Breakfast was a feats: "the art of the table" are no vain words. The welcoming owner(s) of the B&B made us feel 'at home, away from home', the way a B&B should be. And it is easy to walk from here or take a bus to town center or the main places of interest.

Noble house

Spacious rooms in a traditional noble house, well kept, refurbished with taste. 3 rooms to rent. Parking nearby is available for an extra fee. Good quality beds, coffee and tea making appliances for free. Breakfast room with large table for up to 7 guests, breakfast was good. Home made jams. Plenty of choice. Very friendly and correct hosts

Breakfast with No freshly cooked stuff. A bit over priced, but Leuven is not cheap. Steep staircases, 2 floors, avoid large heavy suitcases. I particularly disliked the glass walled toilet, but this is about personal taste

very nice neighborhood location - owner managed and owner is an exceptional host - very helpful - clean - wonderful and delicious breakfasts - has underground parking for a small up charge a couple blocks away - views from a pretty garden terrace on 3/4 th floor

Good value and personal service

It was an an actual B&B. Lots of places operate with the anonymity of an Air B&B, but this felt more personal and service oriented. Location was on the edge of the ring, butnit was jusr a 15 minute walk to the centre.

They were redoing the cobbles during our stay. Not the property owner's fault thougj and they can't be blamed. Also, the bathroom walls are all glass (at least on our unit). A bit odd and discomforting for some. There is a curtain to provide privacy though.

A lovely B & B in a town we love!!

We had a lovely breakfast in the beautifully decorated dining room. The room was a good size with a bed, bathroom and table for two but a bit of noise from the neighbor. And, unfortunately the street was having work done on it. The bed was good but a bit too soft for our liking.

We stated above we would prefer a firmer bed. Otherwise every thing was lovely
