Decent breakfast, central location in historical building

Site pictures show views on mountains for the kind of room I booked, but mine was on a cycle parking instead - so be careful and make it clear you want mountain views. Room may need a bit of refurbishment. No AC. Overall, too expensive for what is being offered.

Good location but aggressive hotel owner

The hotel is in a good location for exploring central Brixen. The breakfast is good and the host was attentive. Reception and the check in process was good too.

Shortly after our arrival, we had a very unfortunate interaction with the owner of the hotel. Understandably, she did not want me partner to keep his bike in our hotel room (which was required under his insurance policy) and rather than discussing this with us and politely explaining an alternative solution, she quickly became very angry and aggressive. Whilst my partner tried to explain that it was necessary for his insurance, she said her insurance would cover the bike in her garage, and when my partner asked if she could send an email to confirm this, she again raised her voice and said her word should be good enough. My partner asked her if she could calm down and she eventually stormed off. We were in the swimming pool at the time and I felt very attacked - all in front of other paying guests. It was very awkward and I felt very upset. If we hadn’t already paid for our stay, I would have left immediately. Other staff apologised and said this behaviour was not uncommon, but as the she is the owner, there isn’t a lot that can be done. My partner resolved the situation and we received a half apology from her later that evening, which made the remainder of the stay bearable. This interaction was very disappointing, as the other staff we met were all kind and welcoming.

Great hotel when your goal is to visit Brixen/Bressanone

The breakfast spread was amazing. Great place to stay while visiting Brixen/Bressanone. If you stay in the summer and need to cool the room down, they will provide a fan upon request.

Not their fault but the trip to the Dolomites took nearly three hours from here though it was only 40 miles away. There’s other choices closer to those mountains that we would’ve selected had we known the only road between the two becomes a traffic jam the entire way. Not the hotel’s fault but I gathered they were closer to the Dolomites from the website. My mistake.

The breakfast was great. Robot made fruit and vegetable juice. Anne on reception was really nice. Tried to help us in answering any travel questions we had. Thank you to her, especially. Hotel was a bit far from the station (not very convenient) However it would be ideaal if you had a car.

Why do hotels have soft pillows? Fortunately, the chambermaid was able to change mine on day 2 to give me a 'decent 'pillow.

Wir konnten Brixen kennen und geniessen lernen, in der Altstadt haben wir die Abwechslung gefunden.

Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielseitig und schön präsentiert.

Eine Buchung mit Halbpension ist in diesem Hause nicht möglich, oder sinnvoll. Die Auswahl in der Speisekarte ist auf Pizzas reduziert, diese sind zwar gut, aber die ganze Woche nur Pizza ist langweilig.

Ankommen, wohlfühlen in guter Umgebung.

Freundlicher Empfang und alle Fragen zur Stadt sowie Empfehlungen für die Abendgestaltung wurden gut beantwortet. Ohne Reservierung in der Hauseigenen Pizzeria ein Platz zu bekommen war kein Problem, ich habe an der Rezeption Bescheid gegeben und wurde angerufen sobald was frei wurde. Nach dem CheckOut noch eine Stunde am Pool liegen war ebenso kein Problem.

Positiv überrascht - immer wieder gerne

Der Rezeptionist war richtig freundlich. Er zeigte mir wo alles ist und begleitete mich bis zu Zimmertür. Egal was ich brauchte - er war immer freundlich und sofort zur Stelle! Auch die Poolanlage war perfekt. Schön ruhig im Garten - genau das Richtige zum entspannen.

Das Einzige war, dass es keine Klima im Zimmer gab - ist aber auch verkraftbar

Ideales Hotel um Brixen zu erkunden, gerne wieder!

Schönes Hotel in einem sehr alten Haus mit ruhigen Innenhof Garten und kleinem Pool. Das Ganze im Zentrum der Altstadt es war alles ideal zu Fuß erreichbar! Es gab auch einen hoteleigenen abgesperrten Parkplatz. Zusätzlich eine tolle Pizzeria im Haus, unbedingt dort Essen!

Nachbar Bar mit DC im freien war sehr laut bis nach 22:00 Uhr! Störend wohl für alle in der Umgebung, dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts.
