We are really happy with our stay ; everything was thought to make the guests comfortable

The B&B is a nice and clean accommodation which is within 20 Minutes walking distance from the city center and run b

The B&B is very close to the city center. In 20 Minutes you are at Ponte Vecchio or you are able to take any bridge before that and cross the Arno to the other side. The staff is very nice and always ready to help and adjust you have any wishes. The accommodation was nice and clean.

You have to bear in mind that the B&B is in an old building so you can hear some noises from the neighbours. The B&B has no parking places so you have to search some free ones in the vicinity or pay to park in the garage.

Firenze Rocks mini break & sights of Florence

The room was so nice and clean, including floors. The bathroom was compact but again fully functional and clean. Lovely crisp bedding. Large wardrobe to hang up clothes and store baggage. The host was very welcoming on arrival and a text away if there were any issues (none). l liked the coffee and water facilities to use outside the room, which was well stocked. We were there for the festival primarily but spent a few days seeing sights in Florence, which was about 25min walk along the riverbank. We also pre booked galleries and museums to cut down on queues. Lots of information in the welcome pack relating to transport or take away food, check in and out, and how to use the ac and tv. Could not hear other residents staying in the accommodation. View from the balcony was lovely of town square where a market is held several days a week. Shops and restaurants are close by so good choice of food and drinks.

Our room had a lovely balcony to sit out and look over the town square. However, traffic is very busy, so noisy at peak times. Had to keep the balcony door closed at night to reduce noise. However, don't be put off by this as it's just a preference to allow airflow. A-C is great and keeps room cool.

Nice and quiet!

Overall great stay. The staff was polite and helpful. Room was very spacious. Towels, shower gel and hairdryer is provided. There’s a drink station in the hallway, a coffee machine that has decent tasting pods and is always stocked up. There’s also a kitchen area where there’s a fridge for you to put chilled snacks if you wish. The location wise is quiet, if this is what you are looking for. It takes around 28 minutes to walk to the tourists sites, as we are on the other side of the river. But bear in mind it takes roughly that long but if you plan on doing other things etc etc then the miles will add up. Perfect if you don’t mind walking. There is a bus that takes you to places but we knew the walking route so didn’t use the bus. There is also a supermarket which is 3-5 mins walk on the same street, but that is quite small so don’t expect too many choices of food I mean. Other than that it’s a great stay!

location is a bit out of the way. Which means if I do go back to Florence I may not go back to this place. But I highly recommend it if people don’t mind walking. just me and my badly designed feet.

Disappointing

The area is off touristic trail and is where the locals are living.

To me everything at this accommodation felt like It is done cheaply so the B&B can make money without putting too much effort or spend on their guest comfort. During our stay: - The worst part was our room smelt so strongly of incense sticks the entire time. I was sneezing the whole stay as being sensitive to smells and could taste the incense stick smell in my mouth/throat when lying in bed. It really was not pleasant. - Nothing was explained about the accommodation during check in. I later found a guide in the room, however a quick mention from the host to guest of ensuring to read the guide would have gone a long way. - The accommodation doesn’t look like the booking/com pictures, I think some years ago. The room and common area look outdated/cluttered and could do with a refresh. In the booking it said their was a balcony, on arrival the room did not have a balcony. - The coffee machine, that is just a capsule machine was not working but the B&B offered a coffee on them at a local bar. The water cooler tasted off and was often empty. - The accommodation is way over priced for what is being offered and what guests receive. I have certainly stayed in other places that are much more welcoming and comfortable for the same price. It’s a Bed & Breakfast yet the property doesn’t offer breakfast probably to save on their business costs yet still the property is charging room prices that should include at least a small breakfast. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 13 years and can say that this accommodation you as a guest are just a money making person for the B&B without any warmth or hospitality. I’d recommend stay somewhere else and get something better for your money!

Very Nice B&B

The B&B is very good. Rooms have the correct size and are pleasant. The place has all the basics to feel like "in home". The availability of a freezer is very "welcome". Regarding the neighborhood is quiet and plenty of good restaurants as well as two big supermarkets.

Far.... from the city center!. between 20-25 by walking ( even if you are in a good shape), so be aware of that.

Great accomodation

Perfectly located with an easy stroll into the main area. We were made to feel very welcome & it was the perfect place for us to stay for my 50th birthday celebrations. Handy supermarket close by, bus stops literally on the doorstep, and the breakfast in the wonderful patisserie over the street was excellent. Our room was spotlessly clean & so comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, water cooler & even a fridge that guests can use. Perfect in every way! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great romantic place with a lovely view and a really helpful, hospitable host in a cool neighborhood

The room was lovely, high ceilings, big bed, the view was lovely, and Stefano was a great host, really helpful, treated me like family. It's a romantic spot and would be great for a honeymoon (too bad I was alone!)l, Also, it's in the really cool Oltrarno district where there are great restaurants nearby and not so many tourists, But close enough to walk to the city center.

Although I didn't hear much noise there was a glass double-door connecting (I imagine) my room with another room. I kept waiting to hear noise coming from the other side but didn't. When it rained there was a bit of noise ouisde from the rain clanging off of something. (But not a big deal - I'm sensitive to sound).

Fabulous

Stefano the owner is really kind, communicative and helpful! Really big and comfy room in a neighbourhood 15 min walk from the city Center. It’s extremely clean and really warm!

The breakfast is given for free by a nearby cafe/pasticceria, however, despite the big variety available, hotel guests can only take 2 croissants (or a small sandwich) and 1 espresso (or cappuccino) - the ladies at the cafe were quite strict and wouldn’t let us choose another pastry or a double espresso. The quality and taste were superb but it could have more options and quantity! The decoration of the room could have been a bit more selective as it mixes not very successfully classic and modern.

Vivere una Firenze meno turistica

Struttura ben curata. Camera spaziosa, luminosa e ben pulita. Quartiere tranquillo con tutti i servizi a portata di mano ( localini, ristoranti, supermercato) per chi vuole vivere una città meno turistica. Ottima la pasticceria per le colazioni. La proprietaria è gentilissima e super disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Weekend a Firenze

Camera e bagno un pò vintage ma comunque tutto pulito e confortevole. Sul corridoio macchina del caffè e bollitore per thè disponibili gratuitamente. Posizione abbastanza comoda, a 20 minuti a piedi dalla stazione dei treni e mezz'ora con calma dal centro. Check-in già la mattina quindi ottimo servizio. Shaila persona gentile e premurosa. Ottima esperienza.
