Excellent

The bungalow was spotless and cosy. The location was excellent, right on the beach with lots of bars and restaurants nearby (we loved Koala Bar!). The whole atmosphere of the hotel was so relaxing and beautiful, felt secluded and jungly! The pool area was lush as well! Can’t fault our stay, it was perfect!!!

Great beachfront location and atmosphere, but let down by poor room facilities and amenities.

The location is excellent, right on the beach with sun loungers available. The hotel is clean and has a lovely overall feel, with an open outdoor layout made up of several bungalows surrounded by overhanging trees and greenery. The staff (especially cleaners) were friendly, the pool is a good size, and the massage room on the beach is highly recommended.

There was no safety deposit box in the room. The shower was awful, with no water pressure at all, just a trickle. The hotel didn’t provide an iron, which I think is a basic necessity. The TV didn’t work, there was no bum hose in the toilet (which is unusual for Thailand), and the WiFi was hit and miss, which was disappointing given that the hotel is marketed as a resort.

They keep animals in cages

Room was great, location was also very nice. I love that there are so much plants within the property.

I was very disappointed that they keep large reptiles in cages. The last thing you want to see in a place like that is animals abuse. Very disappointing.

Excellent accommodation and great value for money Would definitely stay again

Absolutely loved this place. Had a great bungalow which had been recently renovated and was very comfortable with great outdoor space for morning coffee. Staff were lovely and friendly. Pool was fabulous also. Got a tuk tuk for 150 THB to Walking Street which is a market about 20 minutes walk. It’s where we ate most nights, so affordable and incredible variety. Definitely do day trips from Koh Lanta. We did Koh Rok / Koh Ha and also Phi Phi, Bamboo and Monkey Islands. But best was Maya Bay where they filmed The Beach.

Superb

Excellent location, friendly & helpful staff, direct access to the beach with lots of food options nearby, good working (and quiet!) aircon, and really nice jungly vibe between the bungalows. Pool was also chill & very clean. Also the cleanest bathroom we've seen so far in Thailand. We ended up extending our stay by 3 days because we enjoyed it so much on Ko Lanta. We rented a scooter via the reception which also went perfectly. The only improvement points I can think of are that the shower pressure was a bit on the low side and that the bed was a bit hard & creaky. But both of these are kind of normal for Thailand and for the price I really shouldnt complain. Superb place to stay!

The swimming pool, the staff, the big beach in front, the bars around, the big trees everywhere providing the perfect amount of shade on a warm sunny day. I would definitely come back one day!

There really was nothing good about this stay.

The lady at the front desk was nice

The restaurant looks like a roadside warung and the menu options were not attractive. The driveway entry is graffitied. The mosquitoes were terrible. The beach had a fair amount of trash and there were no beach chairs. The bungalow room felt like a bunker, one window and one strange glass cross type thing in the wall that reflected outside light and appeared to glow at night. It was creepy.

The room smelled strange, dark, not 27sqm as said, very uncomfortable bed. Overall not comfortable in- or outside the room. We changed the hotel right away, got the money back except for the first night.

Location really good considering the beach and food places, the childrens pool good and in the shades, and lots of shade in the pool.. nice aquarium and lovely turtle and iguanas at the hotel. Friendly staff and really good beach front bar and really nice child friendly staff there too.. Enough big fridge in the bungalow and a good big bed.

No bum gun in the toilet in the bungalow nor in the pool toilets. Water from the shovers even more poorly than normal thailand shovers.. Pool not in the beach but in long distance from the beach and if lot of people then not enough sunny places for the sun beds but now it was quiet so perfect for us.. Then maybe too much "jungle" and bugs in the hotel and bungalow area.. A mosque nearby so wake up every morning at 5.30 and then the staff raking the leefs from the bungalow yards too early in the mornings so that also woke me up again and nuts falling from the trees to the bungalow roofs were disturbing..

Nice resort on fantastic location

The location is fantastic. A nice beach with nice restaurants on it. We liked the restaurant of the resort and the pool area. Good massages. Also the reception lady Alina was very nice.

When we arrived, the first appartment that was assigned to us had a big gap in the door, so mosquitos came in easily. We reported to the staff immediately and they gave us another appartment. Unfortunately, the door to that appartment also didn't fully close, so mosquitos still came in. Also the appartments could use a renovation, especially the bathroom. The refrigerator made a lot of noise.

Bungalows were well kept and resort quiet place to stay. Not luxury but very decent accomodation. Right on beach and all services nearby. Good value for the price. Great massage service. Nice pool. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had to leave earlier due to corona crisis and hotel charged only used nights which we appreciate very much. They also arranged us early morning transport to airport and all went well. Thank you🙂

A true island escape

The rooms and resort were exceptionally clean. We stayed in a standard room for 2 nights- which is a semi detached room. It was very basic, a little cramped with two big dive bags, but very clean. No tea/ coffee making facilities but a HUGE fridge. It is set closer to road side but very quiet. Bed quite hard but good cotton sheets. We had asked to be upgraded to a sea front room before we arrived. As we were i transit we did not receive Alina’s message on booking that they were full but upon our arrival she was ready with the suggestion of the first available upgrade after 2 nights so our last 3 nights were in the sea front room. It was lovely and spacious, super clean and well serviced with coffee/ tea making facilities and a line to hang ones wet things up on the small patio. Mosquitoes were a problem as units are in a garden setting but they did spray our room daily on request. Bed super comfy with crisp cotton sheets. Breakfast is available on a la carte menu at average of 200 baht. Food is good. Staff are friendly and beach massages are lovely. Proximity to other bars and restaurants is close and a lot to choose from. Lovely sandy beach (albeit it grey sand) right in front of resort. Access to day trip boats from beach. We loved the rustic island bar. Lovely pool area shaded when one needs a break from sand and sea.

The only negative is the curtains were not block out and the outside lights shone into the room. Breakfast is not included and can mount up at 200 Baht per person per day. Seemed to be a resort favoured by retirees- didnt bother us but something to be aware of if one is looking for younger crowd. When tide is out swimming is not really possible.

Hot shower, breakfast at the beach, enough places to eat in the area on walking distance western and thai. Staf was very helpful and friendly.

The bed was too hard for me and the sheets too thin so i couldnt get comfy. There is also a musque in the area so sometimes you can your them pray outside.

Pleasant

Room was clean, only a minute to the beach. Water in pool was clean but with so many trees the leaves are always falling into pool.

Some may like that all the cottages were below lots of tree cover and vegetation but I found it dark and have preference for more open spaces. Cottages are unremarkable and older but seemed to be maintained. I weigh 120kg, wish I was lighter but the toilet was squeezed between the shower and sink and I found it very uncomfortable to get situated and finish up. Having a shower tended to wet the entire washroom floor so lowering your trousers on a wet floor became an issue. Many cats on property but they are all looking well cared for.

Läget var bra till stranden

Nära till stranden.

Duschen hade så lite tryck i vattnet så det var svårt att skölja ur schampot ur håret eller tvålen på kroppen. Sängarna var stenhårda. Ingen safebox.

Bra läge och rimligt pris! Väl underhållet, fint och lummigt. Fina bungalows och trevlig personal..

Fanns en del långtidsboende på hotellet. Dessa verkade mest vara bittra/sura gubbar. Jag såg hur de klagade på barnfamiljerna vid poolområdet utan egentlig anledning. Barnen betedde sig som man kan förvänta sig av barn. Absolut inte störiga, de lekte bara. Detta skapade lite tråkig stämning runt poolen vilket påverkade vår vistelse.. Var även brist på sköna solsängar vid hotellets strandområde. Istället hade de satt dit massa stolar som inte alls är lika sköna att ligga i… Var även det vanliga problemet med att folk lägger handdukar på de bästa stolarna och sen är de inte där på flera timmar under dagen.. hotellet borde ha någon policy/skylt som säger att man inte kan reservera en stol utan att vara där.. självklart ska man få gå på lunch men många handdukar okuperade stolar i flera timmar utan att någon var där…
