Great little beachfront resort

Breakfast was very simple eggs any was you like, but no filling in omelette, fruit, rice or noodles, yoghurt.

Koh Lanta was nice, but next time I'll pick another accomodation.

Spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Well-maintained gardens Very friendly staff Location very close to many restaurants, perfect for dinner and dine-out. Very spacious fridge and kettle with coffee powder.

Room: - Awful colour (pink) in the room combined with terrible lighting (old-style energy-saving bulbs) = extremely uncomfortable. - TV with no channels, only casting possible. - The room is basically a half bungalow. It is extremely noisy due to the connecting door between the two rooms. And there is a really big gap under the door. Disaster! Bathroom: - Worn and quite hard towels - Broken towel rail, i.e. no place to hang towels. - Corroded mixer taps. - Dangerous electrical installation of the water heater (only with insulating tape!); I'm glad nothing happened. - Almost no toiletries, never refilled. Containers were completely empty. - Door frame probably damaged in the past by force in the lock area (burglary?) - Only blackout curtains, no transparent privacy screen (curtains or similar) Veranda: - Totally dirty chairs - Peeling paint from the railing

In a beautiful location right on a lovely white sand beach. Spectacular sunsets. The staff were efficient and friendly. Good breakfast. Bungalows spacious and clean, but bit dated. Set amongst well tended gardens, with trees for shade. Large balconies. Nice small pool. Towels provided. Close to bars and eateries along the beach, many with live music. Fire shows on the beach most evenings.

Decor a bit dated, but didn’t detract from enjoyment.

Best place i have stayed on Ko Lanta

The staff are very friendly. The bungalows are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I think they are the best I ever stayed in in Ko Lanta! Very quiet as well. The pool is small but very nice, with comfortable sun beds. Right on the beach. I really like Klong Dau beach as it is gently shelving and nice sand. It is very long, so a nice walk in the morning. There are plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach, and it is lovely to be there with a cocktail at sunset. The nearest 7-11 is only 5 or 10 minutes walk using the shortcut. You can also walk all the way into Saladan for the bars, restaurants and night market. I really liked Lanta Summer House 1 and I will come back.

Everything was excellent. Unfortunately the reception does not sell bus and ferry tickets because they do not have a credit card machine, so I had to buy they somewhere else. I would have preferred to give the business to Lanta Summer House 1.

No frills hotel with a nice pool located right on the beach.

The location right on the beach and the pool. Chip was very responsive if we had questions. We could leave our luggage in the office and stay within the resort after check-out until our taxi arrived.

The breakfast wasn’t great and the room wasn’t cleaned once even though we stayed 7 nights. Extra supplies including water were left on the room door handle.

Great spot at a cheap price on the 🏝️

It’s right on the beach- close to restaurants and a few bars. It’s about five minutes to a Main Street with a 7-11 and more restaurants. Lanta Summer House is inexpensive and easy to stay. The pool was nice!!!

This area of Koh Lanta is not the greatest for single travelers as most people are couples or families. I think Long Beach might be a bit more lively!!!!

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Lanta Summer House. Located at the beach - simple bungalows with front porches were very pleasant. Breakfast was good unless you arrived too late. Staff friendly and helpful.

Typical Thailand bed/mattress - all rather hard but they are the same throughout Thailand. Managed to swop pillows for soft ones though.

Gut gelegene Anlage!

Die Lage ist super und die Häuschen pratikabel eingerichtet, wenn auch etwas schlicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Massagemöglichkeit direkt am Strand.

Das Frühstück war einfach, nur weißen Toastbrot, kein Brot, kein Käse , keine Wurst und wenn man zu spät kam, war vieles schon nicht mehr da, z.b. pancakes Kerzen oder Lichterkette würden die Veranda abends aufwerten. Das Wasser im Pool war am zweiten Tag grün. Die Häuschen könnten alle einen Anstrich gebrauchen. 🙈 Typischer Handtücherwurf einiger Gäste in den ersten beiden Liegereihen!

Bra läge på stranden. Frågade man om hjälp fick man det utan problem.

Risiga och slitna rum, kranarna var lösa, avloppet såg skitigt ut trots att det städats. Personalen hälsade inte när man mötte dom inom anläggningen, man möttes sällan av ett leende i restaurangen eller receptionen.

Nette Unterkunft. Wer Luxus sucht wird es hier nicht finden, aber es ist ein gemütliches Beisammensein. Geräumige Zimmerchen, alles sauber und der Beach vor der Tür. Rezeption ist sehr hilfreich, ob Motoroller ausleihen, Taxi für Pier-Transfer oder Ausflüge buchen, immer da und alles problemlos. Es war sehr gemütlich!

Druk, maar dat weet je in het hoogseizoen

Belachelijk duur 6000 bath of 150 euro voor 1 nacht in een zeer oude kamer waar compleet alles aan vervanging was. Geen stopcontacten aan het bed. Lichtpunt van de badkamer verstopt acht de kast. 1lamp in de slaapkamer, dus als je 's nachts naar het toilet moet, moet je in de donker gaan of iedereen is wakker. De kranen volledig geoxideerd, douchegordijn dat gespannen stond tussen de muren, maar letterlijk naar beneden komt als je het wil dichtschuiven. Fleece deken ipv dekbed,... Kortom voor 150€ heb je in Thailand heel wat andere accomodaties.

Úžasné ubytovanie

Toto ubytovanie nás veľmi príjemne prekvapilo. Pár dní pred odchodom sme nemali ešte nič zarezervované a impulzívne sme sa rozhodli pre Lanta Summer House. Dostali sme krásny bungalow, blízko pláže s veľmi pohodlnou posteľou, anatomickými vankúšmi, úžasnou kúpeľňou a veľkou chladničkou! Čo bolo pre nás veľkým plusom, boli jednoznačne služby - ak ste si nedali upratať, nechali vám na terase tašku s potrebami, kávou a vodou a sáčkom do koša, takže ste si mohli aj sami vyniesť kôš bez potreby upratovania. Vonku bol navyše externý kôš, aby ste nemuseli mať napríklad zvyšky ovocia v izbe. Personál bol veľmi priateľský a cítili sme sa tam ako doma. Ležadlá nie sú na pláži ale pod krytou strieškou a odporúčam takisto reštauráciu, kde výborne varia a za veľmi dobré ceny. Bazén je trochu ďalej od mora ale aspoň poskytuje väčšie súkromie. Bol čistený pravidelne. Raňajky vo forme mini švédskych stolov boli tiež výborné. Pláž Khlong Dao je úžasná, najmä pre rodiny s deťmi. Ráno ju veľa ľudí využíva na športovanie, večer je otvorených veľa podnikov. 5 min od ubytovania je aj 7 eleven, Whatsons a ďalší supermarket.

Je veľmi ťažké nájsť nejaké negatívum na tomto rezorte. Počas pobytu sme mali dosť komárov, ale treba si na začiatku kúpiť sprej a izby vystriekať a pri sedení na terase je dobré sa trochu nastriekať repelentom. Čo sa týka lokality, reštaurácie na pláži sú plusom, ale sú drahšie a do mesta Saladan a na Walking Street je to asi 20 min pešo, takže s tým treba rátať.

Tolle Lage und guter Service, aber das Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein.

Der Manager Chip hat sich schon vorab per WhatsApp bei uns gemeldet und war vor Ort jederzeit hilfsbereit und ansprechbar. Wir konnten direkt im Hotel Roller zu einem guten Preis ausleihen und er hat uns sogar einen Shuttle zum Flughafen organisiert, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls großartig, direkt am Strand – ein perfekter Spot für den Sonnenuntergang.

Das Frühstück hat uns nicht ganz überzeugt. Es gab jeden Morgen das gleiche Frühstück ohne viel Abwechslung und die Auswahl war stark begrenzt. Hier hätten wir uns etwas mehr Vielfalt und frische Optionen gewünscht. Strand zum Baden nicht empfohlen, dafür gibt es südlicher bessere Optionen.
