Albergo Garisenda con terrazza panoramica sulle Due Torri

This property and is a great find in Bologna which seems to have a shortage of hotel beds. Location is excellent: right near the two towers (Due Torri) and in the Garisenda. I was a long older female traveller and security within the hotel, as well as the surrounding are always important. This hotel has a secure entrance and is in a well lit and busy area but off the street which is better. There is a good lift. The front desk is always staffed: 24 hours. The staff area very friendly and keep the key for you which I prefer. They are on hand for any questions. When I left I did not realise a Sunday would mean it would be harder to get a taxi. The staff found me a taxi and helped me take my large and heavy suitcase the half- block to where the taxi was parked. The room is as described. The bed, air con, television etc are all good quality. There is a daily cleaning service. The shower/bathroom area is on the small side. However as a single person it was absolutely fine. The shower was a good size and did not leak water. The room was nice with a desk area, fridge and hanging space. The view from my window was first-class. I would love to stay at the hotel again! There are only 11 rooms and it is a definitely a family - run hotel. There is also a lovely spacious desk as well as a bar. The hotel itself is cosy with books and lounge chairs arranged to make the overall setting very appealing. Highly recommend and definitely value-for-money.

Everything was excellent.

Location was beyond belief

Nothing

Charming small hotel in a great location run by a wonderful couple! Near all the sites and the dining options you could ever want. Big room with good AC, ceiling fan, wifi reception and windows that completely blocked out street noise. Very Clean Lovely terrace. Breakfast small, but with excellent coffee. Would stay here again!

Would have loved an electric kettle in the room (but more than made up for by Coffee served at breakfast)

The location is excellent.

No coffee making facilities, bathroom awkward (step up to shower a little tricky). I didn’t feel totally at ease, a bit of a strange vibe, hard to describe.
