Super we will be there next year, with à bed at 180ctms.

My wife and I did not take breakfast. We ate sévèral times in the resto the soir.The service was 10 /10. The view from the balcony towards the lake is very impressive. Also its only à few minutes drive around the lake to town.

The bed at only 140ctms. I slept very badly on the single childrens bed.On our first night we decided to have drink(9hr)everything was closed and blocked with barrières.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the lakeside. The view from the room was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu selection was good, and a vast selection of jams on offer at breakfast.

The rooms were tired, they could do with a refresh.

Lovely view as often mentioned. Large room and large bathroom. Balcony on lakeside. Breakfast quite ok. King size bed.

Shortly after checking in, the bar and restaurant and lobby all closed and were fenced off. Due to understaffing we were told, but felt as a disappointment from the website promises. Found a good meal in next door hotel so no big deal at the end.

Staff simply didn’t assist or show up, our room didn’t face any towels and the facilities at the hotel were completely closed after breakfast time (without being previously informed).

Great location, cosy house with pleasant staff. Nice restaurant! This could be easily a full 10 point place.

-WiFi is nearly useless, especially on the second floor. Most of out devices couldn't connect. -Shower has bathtub but NO CURTAIN, which causes inconvenience and flooding when showering. -No cattle for hot water in the room. This is inconvenient as the bar/restaurant is open for very limited hours during breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful location, great ambience in hotel, fabulous views from each room, generous sized rooms! Very clean. Professional service and helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a stay. The bathrooms and beds need a make over but not much to complain about.

The bed sagged in the middle. The shower was in the bath without a curtain, so a sit/kneel soap up then a rinse off. I know this is fairly common in some countries but hubby has knee problems so not a comfortable experience.

A True tourist trap

The view

Dirty, stuff lying under the bed, mold in the bathroom, frozen breakfast that tastes like old freezer, didn’t authorize to drink in the bedroom though there’s a table with chairs on the balcony, dead mouse floating for 2days in the pond although we mentioned it on arrival, unfriendly personnel and owners, had to remove 8 wasps from my child’s drink and when asking if we still had to pay the barmaid laughed at us. Dirty coffee machine and wasp stuck in pot of jam. Don’t go there

Une vue merveilleuse et envoûtante

La vue sur le lac qui change d’heure en heure. Dès le réveil un émerveillement au calme et les couleurs de l’automne était un plus. La baignoire à bulles et lumière top

Un séjour reposant et calme, très agréable.

L'hôtel est vraiment situé au bord du lac. La vue y est fantastique. Le calme y est fabuleux. Ils aiment bien les animaux de compagnie, et la chienne de la maison, une gentille Husky est très affectueuse. Le petit déjeuner est bien, avec des confitures faites maison. Un grand parking, juste devant l'établissement. On accède au sentier qui fait le tour du lac directement par le jardin de l'hôtel. Gerardmer est à 5 min en voiture. Nous y retournerons très certainement.

Nous avions une superbe vue sur le lac . Hôtel très propre. Le personnel est très accueillant et très aimable.

Juste un peu dérangeant le bruit qui venait de la chambre juste à côté de nous et le bruit d’un enfant qui sauter d’un lit .

Freundliches Personal, Küche Top, Nur wenige Produkte auf der Speisekarte, diese aber frisch und perfekt zubereitet. Sehr gutes Frühstückbuffet mit frischen Produkten. WC und Dusche sauber. Super Aussicht über den See vom Zimmer aus / vom Restaurant. Schöner Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen. Baden im See (in Unterkunftsnähe) möglich.

Das WC im Zimmer war kleiner als in einem Flugzeug, man konnte sich kaum umdrehen darin. Das französische Bett war sehr schmal, die Matratze sehr weich. Zusatzbett ebenfalls sehr schmal aber Matratze i.O. Beleuchtung im Zimmer (Sparlampen resp. LED über dem Bett) ungenügend und sehr schwach, reicht nicht aus um im Bett zu lesen. Keine weitere Zimmer(decken)lampe vorhanden, Nachttischlampe beim Zusatzbett mit Akku und eher Spielzeug als Lampe. Das Haus ist sehr sehr ringhörig, man hört alles von den anderen Zimmern (Auch jeden Schritt auf dem Holzboden). Balkontüre defekt, liess sich nicht ganz schliessen. Wenig Stauraum für Kleider. Aussenbereich: z.T. defekte Gartenmöbel / Infrastruktur. WLAN im Zimmer / Restaurant ist sehr schwach (Feldstärke) und die Datentransferrate / Datendurchsatz ist unterirdisch schlecht, dies sollte dringend auf einen aktuellen Standard gebraucht werden.
