Pretty bad experience. Felt unsafe at night.

The location is good, central.

The room was poorly mantained. The bathroom was disgusting with the sink and the walls stained and discolored. There was a smell of food in the bathroom. The curtains were also pretty old and stained. The people are terribly loud, both inside and around the hotel. There are no silent hours and the noise and sounds of screaming and crying can be heard late into the night.

I do not recommend checking in, I booked a room online, arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the reception, then the guard came up and said that the accommodation had not been paid for, and I had to pay in cash, I said that it had already been paid and I would not pay, I had never seen such arrogance, the guard left, and I I canceled my reservation with a fine, no one returned the money to me, I had to stay on the street, the area for whites is very scary, like Saint Denis, so far none of the representatives of the hotel have contacted either me or booking,com

No pillow, toilet flusher, or cleanliness

The price was not bad and it was close enough to a small shopping centre which was good.

I didn't receive a pillow on the top bunk bed. I asked to get a pillow from the reception but they couldn't help me. The toilet also had no flusher, you had to lift the lid off the toilet, get your hand wet, and pull the flusher manually. The main light in our room also didn't work, and the bathroom was very dirty.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not in good shape, and; for this reason, it is overpriced.

The neighborhood is going under major renovation. Construction works start at 07:00 am and there is cement dust all over. Management has not invested in this hotel for a long time (maybe they want to "kill" it. Fortunately, staff is agreeable and do their best to please you.

Not that I was particularly expecting a concierge nor receptionist upon our arrival, which I would have preferred, but the person who shouted at us from the freeze-dry coffee machine (making himself a coffee - not even asked) as we crossed the threshold of the lobby, apparently was the night porter! I thought he was a guest! Suppose he did assist with Wifi access! Then proceeded to ask, "Is that your son?", gesturing to my same-sex partner!! To which I abruptly replied, "NO!", which I hope I could be forgiven after a delayed 11hr journey!! If I offended, I apologise. I should've replied, "It's none of your business!". He proceeded to hand me the key to our room. As we summonsed the elevator, he shouted across the foyer, I couldn't decipher his intonation, suffice to say he appeared a little confused! Then gestured all was ok. As we entered our room 212, I now understand why the Night Porter was confused! We had a room with TWIN Beds! Not the double bed as requested! We were not prepared to even entertain the breakfast included!!
