A lovely stay in a beautiful location with excellent breakfast

Delicious homemade breakfast buffet with wonderful breads and jams, eggs, meats, cheeses, oatmeal/muesli, fruits, juices and more to start your day. Welcoming hosts, beautiful views, large spotless rooms. Easy and lovely 20-minute drive to Berchtesgaden, 25 minutes to Eagles Nest. Excellent value for the money.

A nice stay when you are on the road

A nice guest house for a short stay. Very clean and finished. Friendly owners. There is a good restaurant nearby. The breakfast is very good with a variety of local products.

Great room, views and food!

Everything! We chose this accommodation for the location and the food (after reading other reviews of how good it is). We purposely wanted to eat at the accommodation, some nights after hiking. The food did not disappoint! Definitely some of the best we've had in Germany. The room itself was very comfortable and had a fabulous view from the balcony.

We got two adjoining rooms for our own use which was very nice because we could spread out our belongings and wet clothes. Breakfasts were good. The first night we were there, we had dinner and that was really good too. There is a refrigerator next to the breakfast room where guests can keep things in their own designated container. There is also a beverage service refrigerator that guests can access using the honor system.

The bed was too firm for our American sensibilities, and we could have used more than one pillow each. This gastehaus is tailored to German speakers — the menu, the bulletin board, and the daily newsletter provided at breakfast are only in German. But hey, you are in Germany so things are going to be in German. Deal with it.

Pleasant mountain guesthouse, a little away from the city. Well furnished, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, nice hosts. A pleasant garden with a small playground.

The restaurant is not open every day and the nearest one is a long walk away, you need to drive a car.

I would definitely visit it again!

The landscape is magnificent and peaceful. Ideal for those who want to be in touch with nature and be their starting point for an excursion. Room super-clean and spacious, the breakfast satisfying enough (fresh baked breads, marmelades and fresh fruits). The Host was kind, warm, helpful and willing to provides us with all information we wanted.

Be prepared that there is no elevator and you had to carry the suitcase on the 1st floor by the staircase.

Nice place to stay!

The breakfast and dinner were above expectations. Also the location and view from the balcony was great. The staff spends a lot of effort especially behind the scenes, very much appreciated! In summary, it's a nice place to spend some days.

Nothing really, one could complain about the road that is very close, but the windows remove most of the noise. If you want to start your hiking from the accommodation, you first need to walk along the street for a few meters. A sidewalk would make that walk a little safer.

Location. Scenery. Staff were happy in their work, hard working, attentive to needs and friendly/smiling. The facilities were kept very clean. The breakfasts were amazing! Their restaurant also ended up being our favorite in the area for our evening meal as well.

Our bedroom and bathroom were down the hall from each other. It was fine, but a little challenging. We knew it in advance of booking. It worked out, just a little uncomfortable and inconvenient at times.

Highly recommended stay in Berchtesgaden

We were initially forced to book this hotel as alternative as one day before the start of our trip, our originally reserved Hotel Garni Landhaus Sonnenstern informed us they had to cancel our reservation due to overbooking?! In the end, this change turned out to be a great experience. Surrounded by beautiful mountains with great restaurant for dinner, friendly hotel staff, very clean room with comfortable bed, and very nice breakfast. We will definitely stay here next time visiting Berchtesgaden!

Ein ruhiger entspannter Urlaub

Das Frühstück ist mega, alles frisch, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sogar den Kaffee bekommt man mit aufgeschäumter Milch, ist so super. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß, von Rührei, Weißwürste über Käse und Wurstplatte ist alles vorhanden. Es gibt frischen Obstsalat, Joghurt, verschiedene Müsli, also alles was das Herz begehrt.

Kann ich nichts sagen, da es nichts zu meckern gibt. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für kurzen Aufenthalt optimal, wenn man es ruhig haben möchte und gerne wandert

Frühstück war richtig gut und ausreichend. Haus liegt außerhalb vom Ort, etwas abgelegen direkt an der Straße hat aber nicht gestört. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer hatte ein sehr schönes modernes Badezimmer.

Das Zimmer war nicht so groß, bei längerem Aufenthalt mit schlechten Wetter wäre ungemütlich gewesen, schön wäre wenn man evtl Spiele ausleihen könnte....

Der grosse Garten. Blick in die Berge. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das sehr gute Abendessen an 3 Tagen in der Woche als Menü-Auswahl.

Der pool. Das Foto auf der website entspricht nicht den Gegebenheiten. Der pool ist ein Teich!!, veralgt und zum Schwimmen absolut ungeeignet.

Eine sehr schöne, ruhige Ecke mit gutem sicht auf die Berge. Der Gästehaus Baltram ist sehr gemütlich, sauber, gut ausgestattet. Personal nett und freundlich. Leckeres Frühstück mit gutem Auswahl am Wurst und Käse. Schönes gepflegtes Garten mit Spielplatz. Ich habe vor wieder zu kommen

Vacsora ebben az időszakban nem volt és a környéken nem volt bolt, viszont volt egy jó étterem kb 2 km-re, ahol ettünk egy finomat.

Es war eine super Zwischenstation auf unserem Motorrad Trip.

Es war alles sehr gut. Wir kamen mit dem Motorrad und konnten das Fahrzeug sogar in der Garage einstellen. Personal und Besitzer waren sehr zuvorkommend. Alles klappte reibungslos und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
