The location is central in the old village with great view to the mountain Daubenhorn.
The core issue is twofold: The hotel pools were unavailable due to renovation for a second time, which is a major disappointment. More importantly, this was not communicated proactively. The only message received was the confusing and incorrect quote: 'Please be informed Hotel Spa will be free of charge instead Walliser Alpentherme thermal baths will have an extra fee of 33 CHF per person per day 3 hours daily and Walliser Sauna Dorf (no reservation needed) is 12.00 CHF per person per day.' This wrong communication compounded the issue, providing misleading information instead of an honest update about the closure of the hotel's own pools.

Friendly and professional staff
Some equipment was old and damaged such as the hair dryer with exposed electrical wires. Need more decor in hallways such as green plants. Too bare.
