The location was excellent and clean. Good value for money. The view from the room was gorgeous

The wood under the matrices of the right bed in the internal room was broken and the matrices fell when my daughter on it and couldn’t fix the wood.

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. The room is a bit dated and the bathroom is small. It is however very clean. The booking organization is a bit complicated as the hotel reception is not staffed (pre-transfer of Kurtax, check in required before 8 pm otherwise reservation deleted, Breakfast booked & paid separately). I will however certainly go again not that I understand the organization.

The sauna and breakfast were great. The place had a bit of an eerie feeling until we met staff.

Once we met the lively staff—the married couple from Spain who helped us with the spa and then breakfast—it was better. But if we had not seen her by accident, we could not have used the sauna. It was strange to have no reception.

A receptionist to help answer questions. The jacuzzi was not working.

If you want to stay in Adelboden is a good place!

The restaurant is always close. In my stated time I went to the restaurant to take my breakfast but were closed, I called to the receptionist phone number but nobody answered. Second point, twice the housekeeper open my door even if I was inside, they never knocked.

Perfect for a short stay. Bus stop directly outside, easy access to amenities.

We went off season and the hotel was quite empty so the atmosphere was a little strange without a reception. However getting your key via a lock box plus code was good. The room was spacious and the view from the balcony, south facing room, was lovely. We had a good sized balcony for two, pleasant to sit on for lunch/apero. Breakfast buffer was very good with friendly staff.

Location is great. We found the kitchenette reasonable for a family with two children (we read the negative feedback and were prepared for any scenario, but found that the kitchen had all the utensils required for a low -maintenance utilisation). There is no staff, I did not use the phone contact as it was not needed, so cannot review from that perspective.

It's not a 2 bedroom apartment, it's two rooms with a small kitchenette. Which is fine, we were prepared for that having read the reviews, but the booking can be misleading. It would be better to make it clear, people will still book it and enjoy it, but have the correct expectations. I would have provided different feedback had I not read the reviews beforehand. Do not expect to be able to communicate any specific requirements and hope to be met. Communication is minimum, what you book is what you get, including check-in/check out times, no flexibility.

I recommend to spend a few bugs more and go to another hotel that is less run-down.

if I knew there is no parking available, I would not have come to this place as this is annoying - stuff proposed to park at some other hotel far away. Also you could hear every word from the guests next door

Nice view, but no value for money.

The view is amazing, if you choose a room with a view on the mountain. Room itself is basic, but good enough for a few nights. Hotel is practically is slightly outside the village center, but walking to the nearest supermarket or restaurant took less than 5 minutes, so great location.

Where is the staff??? Because of COVID the staff are nowhere to be found. It feels very strange, especially now that most countries in Europe are well on their way with the vaccinations and other COVID countermeasures. Not having staff there just seems like a cost-cutting issue. Overall the place is okay, but basic. I would recommend it for the amazing view, but other than that it's far from value for money. Moreover, parking is hell. Very few parking spots for the amount of rooms/visitors. This meant we had to park at the paid parking just down the road, which was very expensive. We were quite frustrated about this.

Newly renovated room although in an old building. We arrived late at night and despite no pre-arrangement, the staff had organized everything so that we could access the room. Breakfast must be ordered in advance; although not done by us we could have it without problem.

Not too much to be honest

The staff will not meet you. You need to follow online instructions to find your room. You won’t see them on the check out, either. Instead we received a link to pay an overstated bill. Ups, we charged you for breakfast you didn’t order.

Lage und die Aussicht.

Nicht sauber, es lagen Papier Reste rum und Holzstäbchen zum umrühren von dem Kafee. Die Douchbruse war auch defekt.
