Fantastic, must-visit in a hidden gem of Switzerland

The deck area has impressive views, and the hotel has a sophisticated feel.
The hotel put on an exceptional New Years Eve with fireworks, drinks and oysters on the deck for hotel guests. Unfortunately, there seemed to be lots of people that weren't staying at the hotel that drank most of the champagne and we barely got a glass. Perhaps they need to police that a bit better. The New Years Eve dinner was wonderful in their restaurant. Good spa area.
Breakfast did not have a great variety and cooked meals were extra. Our room was cold because it was up in the roof area. Some of the staff were a bit abrupt and aloof. The barman not so friendly. Apparently, they can only do 1 or 2 fondue settings at time on the deck. We were told it was booked solid. However, we did not see that many people out on the deck. Disappointing! It is still quite a distance to a skiing area. Not ski in and out.

XMAS IN SWITZERLAND..
Staff were the best thing for us. Super helpful, responsive and kind. Met a brilliant staff member down in the breakfast area dark hair (Arlina?) who was so attentive and looked after us each time she saw us, she really did make our stay. I hope she gets a raise she was top notch ! Room was clean and of nice scandi design. Loved that you got two full glass bottles of water each day (not plastic!). stayed in a South Room and a north Room and didnt mind either. Even the road noise (north) wasnt too bad once he windows were closed. Food was good we had fondue one night out on the terrace but through no fault of the hotel we were inundated by instagrammers taking photos by our table which was by the fire pit with no spacial awareness to their surroundings (us!) The same happened down in the spa area which made less for relaxing and more for the photo opps!! Walkable into the town which is cute / pleasant. Switzerland is expensive so it is what it is plus we stayed during the Xmas Holidays just before NY Eve. We would have loved to have stayed at The Brecon but couldn't get a room for our dates so chose The Cambrian.
Children running around the hotel and jumping around in the pool but it was the Xmas holidays! Waiting for the ski shuttle at times took longer than we would have liked. But minor detail.

A truly wonderful hotel
The hotel is beautiful and located in a charming, authentic town that is not overly touristy, right in the heart of the Alpine landscape surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and there are also many great dining options nearby. The heated outdoor pool overlooking the breathtaking scenery is simply magical. The rooms are spacious, stylishly designed, and fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect Alpine getaway. The staff deserves special mention — exceptionally warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire stay even more memorable.

A picturesque retreat with a great location
This was a real gem. From the moment we arrived in Adelboden we were amazed by the picturesque views and the calmness which matched so well with the hotel theme and spa vibe. It is a gorgeous place. We loved every minute of it and had an overall great experience. It was also our Mini Moon and we were welcome well. Great service and location. Our room had the best mountain view you can get 😊
To be honest I can’t think of anything. It was all perfect
