Good.

I stay here often when i am in Stuttgart, because it is a simple, but clean and comfortable hotel near public transit and near the center of the city. No frills, but good, and the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.

It would be a dream if there were more options for food and snacks in the evenings after the staff has left. The vending machine is pretty rudimentary.

Great experience

Great experience, the gentleman at the reception was very nice to us; we explained to him a change in our travel arrangement and he upgraded our room to a very spacious room with extra beds at no cost… thanks so much, this made our stay in Stuttgart very comfortable!

Basic hotel 15m walk from city centre. No frills.

The room was large and the walk in closet was a great addition.

The room was very hot. This was made worse with the old fashioned lighting which used old bulbs that blasted heat. No AC. The location was very close to the red light district and ‘no family’ zones. The nighttime noise was quite loud and the tramps and broken glass in the neighbourhood in the mornings was a little alarming. €20 per day for parking seemed high, and wasn’t that clear on booking. Breakfast at €15 pp was too high for us so we skipped it entirely. High speed internet was 3G at best and dropped a lot.

Location, easy to contact, good price quality ratio, able to stay with friend group in the family room

The card did not really work somehow and we were locked out during the night, good that the reception left the phone number and we got a back up solution with the physical key. No AC.

Great time at Abalon hotel

Breakfast room is small but works perfectly well (we were a group of 47 people and all went very well). There is also a terrace which during the summer works perfectly. The services were very good, personnel was accommodating and pleasant. Very well situated hotel.

During the summer and in a heat wave, having fans for all rooms (as there is no air conditioning in the hotel) would be best.

Breakfast was A+. Beds were comfy and clean and soft. Shower was great. Location was good. The staff seemed very friendly and accommodating.

I didn’t like the contactless check in. I wanted to know someone was there at all times. I would’ve loved to go out ON THE rooftop. I wish there was just 1 English speaking TV channel. I wish the fridge got colder and we could’ve had ice.

Disappointing

Online Check-in process was complicated, must be done exactly on day of arrival, but many annoying e-mails come days before. Reception served only few hours a day and even in this time period it´s sometimes empty...

Very friendly staff and the rooms were very well appointed. Free sparking water in the mini fridge was a nice touch as well

They ran out of bacon at 10.30 one morning which was 30 minutes before breakfast finished !! First world problems 😀

The experience with this hotel was so awful that we just found another hotel for the night.

We didn’t go in to the property- it’s in a sketchy neighbourhood, we checked in online an couldn’t find the PIN required to access the hotel. The clerk wouldn’t let us in, told us to call the hotline and he’d answer and troubleshoot our problem. Too weird
