Fantastic location, clean and tidy, good quality bed linens and toiletries. Walking distance to old town with the local cafes pubs and restaurants all within a couple of monutes walk. Personally don't have an issue with the stairs to the kitchen & second bedroom, but my friend struggled with them, it was great to have the washing machine & dryer combo at the end of our trip.
The bed in the main bedroom upstairs was uncomfortable and the road noise was loud and kept my friend awake, nothing a set of ear plugs might resolve. No road noise downstairs at all 😀

Fabulous location in Stockbridge. Nice to be away from the touristy side of Edinburgh and there is a lovely buzz to the area
Main bedroom road facing so it was very noisy at night with people banging on the window as they walked past late at night. Downstairs bedroom in basement so no window and accessed through the kitchen so no means of escape in the event of a fire. Carpets filthy. In need of some maintenance
