21 Han Asparuh - 24h Self Check-in

We had a great stay at 21 Han Asparuh. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable, and had everything needed for a pleasant visit. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient throughout the stay. The location is superb, making it easy to explore the city on foot. I also really appreciated the flexibility of being able to arrange a late check-out for a reasonable additional fee (€20), which made my departure much more convenient.

Nothing significant to mention. I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily book this apartment again.

Spacious

The location is very good. The apartment is spacious and was clean upon arrival.

We specifically chose this property because it was advertised as having three bedrooms. Unfortunately, this is misleading. There are only two actual bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The third “bedroom” is simply a double bed placed in the living room, separated by a room divider. This is not a real bedroom and offers no privacy at all. The listing should not be presented as a three-bedroom apartment. Even more concerning was the presence of sensors in every room. Each room had one or two devices that showed a red light when motion was detected. This created a strong and uncomfortable feeling of being monitored. It was never clearly explained what these devices were for, which made the situation even more unsettling. In addition, the communication style felt rather harsh and unwelcoming. The check-in instructions were written in an overly strict tone, with multiple warnings about inspections, financial sanctions, police involvement, and even arrest in case of noise complaints. While house rules are understandable, the way they were communicated came across as distrustful and somewhat intimidating, which did not contribute to a relaxed start of the stay.
