L’appartement était très propre à notre arrivée, très facile à trouver, et surtout à proximité de tout moins de 30 minutes à pied de tous les monuments de Sofia

Location. 15 minutes on foot to center 15 minutes to train station, ideal. Neighbourhood, women’s market and Lavon Most station close walk. Great metro connection to airport as well, don’t use Serdica exit, it’s massive countless exits and you’ll end up walking in circles forever, go on to Lavon Most, even with transfer required it’s easier. Super air conditioning, great space. Very well equipped kitchen, that matters to me. Beds were great. Did I say AC was great, it was great. Loved the neighbourhood vibe.
Super pissed that terrace wasn’t accessible. DO NOT lead with terrace as you main header for this apartment, I chose it for the terrace that’s 60% at least the space of the apartment, away from the road and pollution and noise, got a major runaround from host and after 2 days “sorry, not available” massive lie, it was a key access and the key had to have been lost and not replaced. Television access useless, but didn’t press that. Above all, and like the first Flat Manager apartment I booked in Sofia, the front access door is a horror to negotiate. What’s with these Sophia bank vault doors that have careened off there moorings and you’re getting a pit in your stomach 10 minutes before returning wondering if you’ll end up looking for a hotel. Actually researched online and learned maybe soft metal keys had worn, spent an hour and $20 at locksmith cutting new keys, useless but maybe nice souvenirs. Fortunately Snezhana the building manager showed us how to do the 30 second lock tease followed by a knee to the lower left side and pull of the handle up to the right - it’s insane. Fix your doors and get key codes, very anxiety provoking.
