I booked for 2 days then decided to extend a further 2 days before the original booking. Communication was seamless and they were very responsive over the booking app, immediately able to confirm that I'd be in the same room to avoid having to change etc.. The building was really solidly built so I couldn't hear anything from the other floors; a nice change to most accommodation in the west. Huge bathroom and it was never busy when I needed it; if it had been there was another slightly smaller one downstairs. Everything clean and serviceable: I like the culture of buying good quality and then keeping it even if "fashion" changes slightly; if you'd prefer waste to keep up with trends, maybe choose a different place (or country?). There was aircon in the room but with large windows that opened properly and blinds, it wasn't necessary to use it. Also, socket right next to the bed so I could watch my laptop and charge it at the same time. I liked the location 20 minutes walk from the main square or 2 mins walk plus 3 mins metro, 100m to corner shop, 150 to cafes & a big park with calisthenics, church, cafe, abundant benches and real people living real lives, 400m to a big chain supermarket.
Nothing - It's 1* rooms and everything is either in line or above the standard to be expected. If you prefer a 4**** hotel, you can pay for one and leave the choice to have a lower budget room with less services open for those who want that.

15 min walk from main centre of Sofia, near a supermarket, friendly host who let us take our time to check out in the morning, very clean room and bathroom with good hot shower

Location is okay because you can get tram and metro nearby.
The room was rather small than expected. unfortunately lift broke and we were in the 6th floor.
