The location is excellent - amazing views, peaceful and remote, but also very close to the road to Buttermere. The restaurant has panoramic views of the mountains, and is light and very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice bath, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was really excellent: a wide choice of different cooked breakfasts (including, but not limited to, a 'full English') plus the usual cereal / yogurt / grapefruit table as well. Overall, really happy that we chose to stay here.

The Langstrath is the perfect location for walking in the lakes. The owners and staff could not be more helpful and pleasant and the food was excellent, perfect place
