While I received the details needed in time for our stay, there were many questions I asked that never received a response which was frustrating.

Really enjoyed our stay here, good location for exploring. Clean, tidy and the owner very helpful and easy to contact. would stay here again.

The bathroom was abit tired and dated and the door would open for no reason!

This apartment is in the best neighbourhood in Venice if you prefer to be where people speak Italian (and English), where there are locals, families, skaters, youth, and the feeling of being in a place that is not totally Disneyfied. Of course, it's still Venice, and two streets away, there are tourist shops. But the local square, two minutes away, Campo San Giacomo dell' Orio, is a gem. When you get home from all the other stuff, go there and have your aperitivo and just watch life, breathe, listen to the crickets. And then stroll down to one of the many good restaurants for dinner.

Of course a real view over the roofs would be fantastic. But this is really not a critical point, Venice is a town with small streets, and to have a view over the roofs, you need to live on the top floor.
