Holiday Inn Express - Manchester - TRAFFORDCITY by IHG

The location and the staff especially. One waiter stood out. He was greeting everyone and made my elderly mum feel very special. Dimaasi I think his name was..receptionist was also great.

Functional modern business hotel At a good price . Ideal for Trafford park and Trafford centre . Plenty parking on site . Decent included breakfast. Did all it supposed to do for the price . No complaints

Great location very welcoming and friendly staff nothing was an issue even when we couldn’t get the tele to work and needed extra pillows late into the evening.

Breakfast wasn’t the best the juice tasted watered down. Quite slow at clearing tables when it was clear we’d finished with our plates or guest had departed other tables

Out of 3 rooms all had issues. 1 - tv would not turn on. 2 - tv turned off after 15 minutes. It was fixed but the issued returned. 3 - had no lights. Whilst given a room swap offer it was not made until late in the evening and was to exhausted due to the day of travel that it was declined. Next night again no lights and had to wait over an hour for someone to come after our phone call. A room swap was offered and the staff member Ellis assisted us and was very apologetic. Only 2 out of the 3 rooms were ready on arrival at 4.30pm and not located on the same floor which was problematic as I had an elderly father travelling with us.
