BARTA Apartament Riga Old Town

Lovely, spacious and well equipped apartment. Separate bedroom and lounge/dining area with extra seated zone. Huge Smart TV to connect to your own account on apps like Netflix or Amazon Prime TV. Responsive hosts. Great, quiet location in the centre of the old town. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment so no night time noise from the street below. Less than a 5 minute walk to a good supermarket in the Galerija shopping complex. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and a 5 minute walk to the tramline/ buses. About 10 minute walk to the train station. Perfect location to move around Riga old town and get transport elsewhere.

The 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment are graduated size and the handrail is near the narrowest part of the stairs. It was not a problem for us, but those with less mobility should be aware.

A lovely apartment in a great location. It’s enormous, and had everything we needed. Nice to have a separate bedroom and it felt almost like two sitting rooms for one!

The only tiny niggle was that the stairs are quite narrow as they turn the corner on each flight (it’s three flights up), and the bannister was wobbly or had small pieces missing in a couple of places, but that was a very minor inconvenience.

The apartment had everything you would need. Spacious lounge/dining area, well appointed kitchen space and clean bathroom. The bedroom was adequate for two people . The apartment is situated on a quiet street and near to all the attractions, restaurants and bars.
