Very helpful host, many thanks! The house in a pine forest near bike path, good location to explore all nice places in Neringa. Big comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and place for picnic outside, we recommend 🙂 Inside you can find different books and some games for leisure time.

Avoid at all costs, dirty, dangerous and completely misleading property advert

Absolutely nothing unfortunately

Unfortunately there’s rather a lot we didn’t like about this property. The property is actually one of 4 small traditional houses all joined together sharing garden spaces. it would appear at least two of these adjoining properties are under renovation at the moment. The property itself is quite tired and dated save for the bathroom and kitchen which appear modern. For us however the property was left very dirty with cobwebs and dust in all rooms, pubic hair on the bathroom walls, dried on food stains on the kitchen tiles, the coffee machine which is a great touch unfortunately had old stale water left in it rendering it unusable with old coffee blend and waste water on and around the machine, the dish washer had no salt or rinse aid. The fridge was dirty and rusted. The house is heated by a heater/A/C unit in the lounge area which services the whole downstairs and a heater/AC unit in each bedroom which are not adequate for the spring months in my opinion and we had no way of lighting the fire in the living room. There were no curtains in the bedrooms so we had to improvise with bed sheets. In the main bedroom one of the windows has been cracked and damaged and was extremely dangerous. The property also had a problem with ants mostly in the kitchen and bathroom areas. During our 2 night stay the adjoining properties had renovation work on going meaning our supposed relaxing stay by the sea in the woods was anything but relaxing with tools, drilling and banging for most of the day. It also meant that the private retreat we hoped for was spoilt by workmen and neighbours from the adjoining properties walking past our property during our stay who enjoyed nothing more then having a look into the property which was very uncomfortable. We contacted the property owner who said during our stay he would speak to the neighbour to get the works to be quiet and ensure we had the correct dish washer provisions. This didn’t happen as he never turned up.

It is very old, the net for mosquitoes should be put on the door and every windows. The bathroom was not clean.

Place is perfect! We've tested it for workation. A lot of spots round the cottage for improvised office sit downs. The problem could be a wifi if working days are filled with video calls. However reception is good and since we've been using our own mobile internet there were no significant net loss problems.

Ne esmė, bet galėtų būti palikta malkų jei prireikia pasikurti židinį ar keptis maistą kepsninėje.

Buvo tikslas Solo žygis po Preilą 16 km. bet pamatėm dau daugiau

patiko, kad yra daug erdvės, atskiri miegamieji, poilsio zona. Ačiū šeimininkui už paruoštas malkas židinukui, buvo patogu užsikurti. Radom daug knygų, galejom paskaityti kokį vieną kitą puslapį. Jei būtų vasara - smagios ir jaukios erdvės lauke . Labai viskas patiko. Rekomendacijos šeimoms ar draugų grupėms, kurie ieško ramybės, erdvės ir patogumo.

Rami vieta miško apsuptyje, erdvus, jaukus kotedžas. Mano šeimai labai patiko, kitą kartą norėtusį vėl čia pasisvečiuoti. Jei renkantis prioritetas gamta, erdvumas ir jaukumas tai puikus pasirinkimas, tai ne viešbutis, o jaukūs namai.

Keletas neesminių smulkmenų, kurias šeiminkai manau eigoje patys susitvarkys/atsinaujins.
