Overpriced

Air conditioning, mircrowave, stove-top (quite hidden though).

Overpriced for such a small room. The room was on the top floor, and the sloped ceiling in the bathroom made it easy to bump your head—especially for taller guests. Wouldn’t recommend staying longer, as carrying luggage up the narrow stairs is quite a challenge.

Would be nice if...

Room was clean,you have everything you might need for the short stay. location is good enough.

You kind a can hear the neighbours, but it's not the real problem. Owner could inform us before hand, that there is ongoing construction in this guest house, and every morning like, 8 a.m. morning workers do what workers got to do, they are working. Drilling, hammering, ect. So yeah, for someone who came here to relax from all the noises, it is a big disappointment. If we knew about the constructions we would choose something else.

Place has not a specific Nida’s spirit, but it’s good place to sleep in considering the amount of money you pay.

Location - it is far from city centre. The location itself is not very attractive. It made from old car garage. Inside bathroom was cold, a little bit too much air humidity. There was strange smell in stairwell (something like kerosene).

Cozy but rather small

For the price a little under 200 euro per night (we stayed for three nights) we got a room in what looks like a renovated garage with a couple additional floors built on top. The space was tight but cozy. The property is located on the far edge of Nida, so it was quiet there and might be a bonus if you enjoy walking or hiking. The room had all the necessary appliances, like a small fridge, a microwave, a shower and necessary furniture. It was a little confusing that for the group of four we got two disposable bags of shampoo and three towels for the whole period of our stay, but there was no info about the room service so we can get it.

Out of declared or expected services, next things didn't meet our expectations: - Parking - even though there's free municipal parking in a few hundred meters, along the main road, it was fully packed the whole time we stayed there and we had to spend quite a lot of time cruising around, to find a free spot at least somewhere. - Room service - this is something you'd normally expect to get at least every second day, we didn't have any, so be ready to keep it clean, which might be challenging with children. - Ceiling height - we lived on the third floor and it was only possible to stand straight in the middle of the room and in the shower, so if you're a tall person like me, take this into account. - Vent - is a minor thing, but still, even though there were four ceiling windows in the property, it was strictly forbidden to leave them open upon leave, and since there's no ventilation it was sometimes very hot inside. - Reception - this is probably the smallest inconvenience we met, as we were looking for a reception nearby upon arrival, gave up and called the host, who told us that keys are in the door.

- Slightly noisy in the morning, thin walls you can hear people outside and in the 2nd floor - Spot to dry the towels would be nice - Parking at the public area, no reserved parking spots available but it is very safe area NOTHING ELSE BAD I COULD SAY :)

We went there when the weather wasn't so pleasant...First week of summer...So it was a little bit cold in the room and no option to warm it up, cos of the central heating. All the rest was good 🙂

Good accommodation

Good appartment plan. Feels quite spacious. Complete kitchenette. Great for bikes - next to the bicycle path towards Nida. Friendly and helpful service. Only downside - half of the tv channels are russian, but it has USB (no wireless or Bluetooth)

Could be a good choice if prices have pushed you so far from the Nida centre anyway...

The location itself is a bit weird - a kind of township of minuscule houses (presumably a relict from soviet occupation tyme). That being said there is nothing particularly wrong with location itself and the house seemed to be very recently and creatively refurbished - the room itself was very nice and cozy (apart from a bit limited headspace - we got the one at the rooftop), reasonably spacious, well furnished, comfy bed - lets say at very good 2 star hotel level. Certainly one of the best privately rented (non-hotel) rooms we have booked in Nida or Palanga (from slightly more than 10 or so in total). Be aware of the distance from the Nide centre though (could seem closer on map than it is) - ~2.5 km are walkable in principle, but may not be something one wish to repeat too often. The last half of the way is also rather boring, and practically no services or entertainment at the hotel area itself. Street parking only, but at least free and reasonably availabe - the option to leave car at night in the vicinity of place you are staying is an advantage (used to be better, but at this time of year if you chose a place in centre it might be worth to double-check whether they can guarantee their own parking space and for free). So, if you really are forced to look for accomadation as far from the centre as this hotel (in Purvynes) could recommend the place as a verified value (with little expectations that other places neraby might be much better). The price - obviously inflated, but since we chose this, was one of the best options that was available at all.

It is worth to be aware that the place is really far from the centre. On offer seems only non-changeable and non-refundable booking options (even if this hardly mattered for us with booking just few days in advance, not something we would chose with alternatives at hand or could really recommend to others). Cash payment only, contrary to claims of card acceptance on booking.com website.

Romantic Attic by the Sea

Everything else was great :) Very cosy and functional studio with spacious light bathroom, miniatiure kitchen, really comfy beds (although I'd prefer non-down pillows bcs of my asthma) with a breathtaking view to starry night sky through a skylight straight above the bed.

Due to steep roof slope the dining space is barely usable.

Excellent experience.

The only downside to this facility is that it's very far away from town centre, but that's not an issue if you have a car or bicycle. Otherwise it was perfect: not expensive, very clean and comfortable, everything was working properly and the beds were comfortable, too. Quiet, well put together. The host was exceptionally nice and even gave me a ride into town the next morning. Highly recommend for those traveling on a budget.
