The road leading into the chalet,we arrived when the road was very icy and struggled to get down although owner did put some dirt down when we mentioned this defiantly would stay again

Haus Steiner was amazing! The room was great and a picturesque location with open fields and grand views of the mountains just outside of the hustle bustle of Salzburg city. Also best value for money we've come across on our trip so far! Plus the housekeeper Rosemarie was lovely 😊

We have visited many apartment hotels across Europe and this definitely makes it into the list of best apart-hotels we’ve stayed at. The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable and has all the amenities needed for your stay. We had a room with a balcony view, which allowed us to see a lovely view of the nearby mountain scenery. Along with having a great number of items provided to support you during your stay, the owner (Frau Rosemarie Steiner) of the Haus was incredibly friendly and was very helpful. A great benefit is that she lives in the accommodation, allowing easy communication if you have any queries or concerns.

We felt there wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property. It was a great accommodation!

An amazing place to stay for a holiday in Salzburg

Super friendly and accommodating host. The views from the balcony/windows are also super nice. It has all the amenities you might need. There is a bus stop nearby to get to the city centre quite quickly too. Great place to feel like you're living among the mountains while still being close to the city. Easy check-in/check-out.

Quite a few mosquitoes (probably as it's more remote), not a big issue though.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful location, wonderful views from the bedroom balcony. It is 15 to 20 minutes from Salzburg central by bus. Apartment was extremely clean and had all the requirements for a short stay. The host Rosemarie was very friendly and helpful.

The host was nice, and very helpful for our late check in. The area is lovely and easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the tools necessary for a short stay.

A few small things can make the difference between a good and an excellent stay, at least for me. The bathroom had hand soap on the sink, but no shower gel or shampoo in the shower. There were a few tea bags in the kitchen, but no coffee. Also, breakfast at the property is not offered, and the nearest shop is about 1 km away.

Excellent, relaxing sojourn on the edge of Salzburg

Friendly reception, fast and easy check-in. Location near lots of delicious German Gasthäuser (traditional restaurants), close to Salzburg Zoo and 3 minutes walking distance to a bus stop which takes you directly to the Altstadt (circa 20 minutes by bus). Quiet street with lots of quaint Alpine houses. Conveniently outside the city center so getting around/out of the city by car is a cinch (little traffic). Room itself exceeded expectations - very clean and cozy. Terrific view from the balcony out onto the mountains! Kitchen had everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I would gladly come again.

Un posto davvero bellissimo, immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità. Si dorme molto bene e l’atmosfera è rilassante. La posizione è comoda: il centro è facilmente raggiungibile sia in autobus sia in auto. Molto pratico anche il parcheggio; noi abbiamo lasciato l’auto ferma per tutto il soggiorno e ci siamo spostati in autobus, grazie alla fermata davvero vicina.
