Nice and cozy small B&B above a bakery with lovely sea views

No breakfast formula - you have just a 5 pounds voucher and you order like any other client, there is no fixed price breakfast

Clean, peaceful and comfortable with astounding views across the Forth. So convenient to have such a high quality cafe downstairs. Great separate access to the side. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice touch to give a £5 voucher for the cafe. I love staying here as an alternative to more expensive Edinburgh accommodation. Two good pubs nearby and the fascinating historical village of Culross nearby. Lovely walks along the Forth with great views of the bridges. Wonderful for photographers. And the wonderful Dunfermline nearby with the Abbey, museum and Pittencrieff Park as well as quick access to Edinburgh and nearby Kelpies in Falkirk.

Just be aware the stairs are going to be a challenge for less mobile people. Breakfast was not included which is fine but unusual compared with other places I visited this week. Traditional to call two single beds together a king size bed but it's not really. As you have the joint in the middle. Just a personal gripe. This is a very dog friendly cafe so maybe not for you if not a dog fan.

We loved the views from the room. The bed was super comfy and spacious.

The room was not clean. It was dusty in places. My mum packed wipes and wiped most counter tops. The shower light was hanging out, the shower was also missing a handle. The shower grating also was mostly black.
