A pleasant stop

Room was comfortable and the dinner and breakfast was delicious. Staff were really friendly and ready to offer assistance if required.

Budget hotel with good food and friendly staff.

It was great to have ample parking at the hotel. The bar and restaurant were great, lots of menu options, great steak and a comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. As a budget hotel it met expectations.

Carrying suitcases up the stairs is never fun. It would have been good to be told in advance that you needed to check in at the bar as it was quite confusing upon arrival as to where to go. Very small shower.

3 beds in room, pizza for dinner delicious, parking available, waiter friendly, courteous, pleasant.

Didn't like winding halls to get to room, didn't like bed headboard up against a window - window access not a viable possible escape route, bathroom limited for hanging wet towels. Grout on bathroom wall needed to be cleaned. Room had a strange smell.

The bathroom had mold in the grout of all the tiles (floor, wall, shower). The beds were rather firm.

I will be returning to the Glendine Inn without a doubt .

The breakfast and dinner was lovely, very generous portions, excellent value for money . Free drinking water with cordial available at any time, I love to walk so the fact that it's a 20min walk from the city centre didn't bother me but could be a problem for others .

I'm not a lover of sports and so on the Sunday evening every area had live sports on .

Lovely place we would definitely stay again.

We arrived late (10.20pm) and and the lady behind the bar was really friendly, genuine and helpful. The breakfast was great. Walkable into town in around 10 minutes. Kilkenny is lovely.

If I were to be picky there were crumbs at the back of the seat where we had breakfast. The bathroom door didn't shut properly.

Just pay up and stay somewhere nicer.

Wow, you hear absolutely everything going on in the inn. I expected it to quiet down around 11pm or so, but it was fairly loud until 1am. Also, they play loud music at 8am, so sleeping wasn't great. Glendine wasn't the cheapest spot around, but I regret trying to save a buck.

Spring Break

Staff were fantastic, lovely and warm greetings on arrival. Very comfy bed, good sized single room. Generous portions for breakfast. Lots of free parking and located near the city.

Room 9 has a hidden trip hazard entering the unsuite.

The place is super cute with a bar and eatery on the main floor. I liked that the location is maybe a 20 minute mark from the city center. The staff were very nice and there's parking. It's also close to a bus stop if needed. The room was clean and provided the comfort I needed. The bathroom was very clean and well attended.

The room is a bit small but cozy enough. I would have love to have breakfast included.

Convenient place to stay

Convenient accommodation in Kilkenny, not far from center, in a quiet location. The room was nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. There's a big restaurant/pub on the ground floor, which is very convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in is flexible, so it's suitable for later arrivals as well. There's some WiFi but we did not check the details. We would be happy to come back again.

Horrible , dirty place

horrible place ,more like a cheap transport / road workers overnight stop , room stank of cigarettes ,it was noisy with noisy neighbours we had soup of the day ,unable to eat the filth it was so bad , i would not submit my wife to such a hole and left without stopping there , the price is also a rip off at 130e per night , sorry to be negative but thats the truth, Never Again and a complaint lodged with booking .com
