Welcoming, dog friendly, apartment in pretty village

Great place for a stopover through Belgium but would also be good for a longer stay. Well equipped kitchen area and prettily decorated rooms. Very welcoming to both us and our dog. Secure, private garden area to let our dog into. Interesting history of the Battle of the Bulge.

On street parking was a bit tight for our long Volvo estate car, but the space was always kept available.

Perfect Gîte getaway!

The perfect place for a 2 night getaway to explore the area…Dinant and Chateau de Veves. Fenced in garden with outdoor furniture for enjoying drinks, sunshine and the church bells in the evening. Well stocked kitchen with Pots, pans, cleaning supplies, olive oil and s&p—even a wisk! Very nicely appointed. And the hosts were friendly and kind!

There is no freezer, but nice sized fridge.

Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen en super voor honden.

Vriendelijke ontvangt. Het huisje is in orde, mooie locatie en heel rustig, een afgesloten tuin, en terras. Onze hondjes hebben genoten van buiten zijn en ravotten in de tuin, terwijl wij op het terras zaten (wel spijtig van de vele wespen).

Om het huisje te bereiken moet je door de tuin van de hosts. Er staat een pruimenboom, heel mooi en zorgt voor schaduw, maar trekt veel wespen aan. Op de foto's is een senseo te zien, maar die is er helemaal niet.

Très belle découverte

Accueil très chaleureux des hôtes avec une proposition de boisson dès notre arrivée. Logement au calme très propre. Terrain bien délimité permettant à notre chien de s'y promener sans surveillance. Et si envie, proposition d'un petit-déjeuner digne d'un hôtel étoilé. La découverte de cette région et de ce petit gîte était une très bonne surprise et une très belle expérience que nous n'hésiterons pas à renouveler...

Vriendelijke eigenares die een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt gemaakt had. Gezellig ingericht huisje met een hele keuken. De badkamer is ruim. Je kunt wandelen over de boerenweggetjes.

Ronduit fantastisch

Het huisje is ideaal om met een hond te verblijven. De tuin is volledig omheind. We namen ook een ontbijt, en de gastvrouw heeft duidelijk een liefde voor bakken. We waren er 3 dagen en elke dag had ze iets anders gebakken. Gewoonweg heerlijk. Ook de gastvrijheid en de vriendelijkheid van Cathy en haar man Jean-Pierre waren fijn. Deze mensen zijn ervoor gemaakt om een vakantieverblijf uit te baten.

De norse buurman die vond dat de straat voor hem alleen was, want we moesten de auto parkeren langs de weg (die trouwens overliep in een veldweg). We mochten volgens de overbuur niet parkeren waar we wilden, maar waar hij het wilde want zijn gasten moesten op deze plek staan. Wij dachten dat een openbare weg voor iedereen is, en dat je niet zomaar een parkeerplaats je kan toekennen. Jammer voor Cathy en Jean-Pierre want die willen natuurlijk geen ruzie met zulke mensen.
