Awesome!

This was an exceptional find and best place we stayed on our two week trip to Ireland! Newly renovated lodging was crisp, clean and very nice! Staff great. Nice the Oceanside pub was right downstairs. Location perfect.

Next project should be to replace the mattresses. Only issue we had.

The location its right beside the water as a surfer it's nice to check out the waves. I also was quite happy that the room was comfortable and clean.

Close to everything in the town and the food in their restaurant was lovely

I’m afraid I had quite a few issues with Room no 1. Firstly there are no curtains on the window-just wooden Venetian blinds which let in all the security lighting at the back of the property before they were eventually turned off at 12.30am. Secondly the water pipes make a hell of a racket (maybe a member of staff should spend a night there to understand what I mean) Finally when the entrance door is opened and closed the wind blasts down the corridor and the door to the room bangs very loudly which is very annoying when trying to get to sleep -this needs to be looked at. Also staff can be heard clattering about from approx 6am.In my opinion the price point for this room should be under €100 or these complaints rectified On a positive however the room was clean and comfortable.

The location was great. The room was comfy and had everything i needed. Declan and the bartenders were very welcoming. I enjoyed the vibe and the drinks.

Mixed bag of good and bad

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Bar was cosy with a good atmosphere. Room was very big and Comfortable Staff were very helpful and pleasant

Breakfast and Dinner menu were a bit limited. Whilst the room was very big the En Suite Bathroom was very small and compact. Our room was very close to the Entrance/Exit door so was banging shut all through the night. Was awake a lot of the nights and early mornings with the door and people walking about above us and toilets flushing

Beds were extremely comfortable. Room very clean I particularly liked the wooden floor much cleaner than a carpet. Bar staff especially Oisin was excellent. Great views of the beach Our evening meal was unreal. Great service from the staff and views from restaurant was perfect

Central location. Attached to the bar with a separate entrance. Room was clean and nicely decorated.

Expensive with no breakfast. Walls were quite thin, could hear someone snoring next door. Beds were very soft, it was like sleeping on a water bed. Bit of a smell from the drain in the bathroom. No kettle in the room, just a coffee machine. Bottled water in the room would have been nice.

Lovely weekend stay at Maddens, Bundoran.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Coffee maker, iron, ironing board, and fan were provided. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay. The food and service were excellent. Bundoran is a busy little town, with plenty of lovely walks and lots of pubs, restaurants, amusements, etc. It is also well located if you want to visit sligo, donegal Town, or as far as kilybegs and port noo. There was lots of surfing going on, especially on Sunday morning at tullan Strand, which you can walk to from Maddens.

A nice place to stop, very close to the fairy bridges, which were amazing

The view was wonderful, the room is clean and very large and comfortable. The restaurant was a good place to eat and hang out.

It was very noisy with street traffic. I was awakened by the street car noise, but I needed the windows open to ventilate and cool the room. I still chose the fresh sea breeze air over quiet, but I wish I didn’t have to choose.

Sound proofing isn't great. Our room was above the entrance door which was frequently slammed by residents coming and going from our side of the building. Difficult to get a good night's sleep. Bathroom a tight squeeze but clean.

Extremely Comfortable Stay

The accommodation was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. All meals at the connected pub were quite good with breakfast being included. The sea view from our room was lovely (however, if you are someone sensitive to street noise, choose another room. It did not bother us at all.) Finding the place and the free parking in the big lot just across the road was super easy. One of the nicest accommodations of our two week trip.

The town itself was a bit too tourist-focused for our tastes.
