The property is a five to ten minute walk to the train station and to the bus terminal, for easy access to Portofino. They also serve a great breakfast! The room was clean, and the bed, very comfortable.

A wonderful stay overall. Everything was great: excellent breakfast, perfect location, very friendly and attentive staff, and a lovely spa area.
The only small downside is that some parts of the hotel feel slightly worn and could use a bit of refreshing. That said, it didn’t take away from the comfort or the overall positive experience.
We would happily stay here again.

The male staff member at reception who checked us in was kind and polite. My boyfriend is Italian, but I’m clearly not. Usually when we travel in Italy, staff speak Italian to him rather than English to both of us, but the staff here proactively spoke to us in English in case I don’t understand Italian. He knows that it’s the polite way to behave! We really appreciated it.
As a 5 stars hotel, the tower should be clean at least? (Photo attached). There were big brown stains, disgusting. We had to ask for new tower. What make it worst is that when we check out, the woman at reception asked if everything was ok, we mention that apart from tower, everything is good. Then she pretend she didn’t heard anything.
Also, the air conditioning was set to 20 or 21°C as the lowest temperature, which was too hot (perhaps it wasn’t working at all, not sure). We had to open the windows at night, which was cooler than the room, and we were worried about mosquitoes for our ground floor room.
