It was a bit of a walk from the train station. It was a hike to the metro. Entering the building from the back just past the fenced parking was a bit sketchy. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy.

Good value, close to train station but not too close. Staff was very pleasant & hard working. Had a bar on site.

On Fridays, the downstairs bar rocks until 3 am...impossible to sleep. Next day bar was open but much quieter. Rooms are small & a bit humid.

They provided a fan to attempt to cool off the room.

The property was in a sketchy part of town. While they boast about being near karaoke and bars, it was so loud until 5 in the morning, making sleep difficult. It was a very small room and the twin beds were very firm. The shower was almost too small to use.

Not very clean, worked for a night.

It was near a transit stop, quick and easy to get to the main part of Zurich.

Our room smelled pretty strongly of cigarettes, and it wasn’t particularly clean. There was a wad of black hair (similar to what someone may pull off a hairbrush to clean it) in the corner of the room - my sister and I are both blonde. Other small details, such as splatters on the wall and caked on dirt in the corner, made the room feel dirty. The outside was also noisy, which the hotel can’t control, but we had to keep our window cracked because the fan was completely broken in our room. Switzerland is expensive, but this felt way more expensive than what it was worth for a nights stay.

Wouldn’t return

It was close to the train station.

The property was in a bad area with prostitution, drugs and strip clubs we felt unsafe. There was no air conditioning it was very hot. It was very loud and we couldn’t sleep from all the noise outside and inside. People tried to enter our room. There was never anyone at the front desk to answer questions.

The check-in person was very nice and helpful.

The fan in our room did not work. We had the window opened and that helped with cooling the room down. The hotel promoted that the restaurant attached had karaoke 7 days a week. Unfortunately, they did not hire a DJ the night we stayed at the hotel so no karaoke.

The service was very poor, and the internet connection was terrible — the Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect at all. The staff at the hotel refused to help me and told me it wasn’t their problem. There was never anyone at the reception, and there was no place to store our luggage after check-out, which was very inconvenient.

Deceiving location

The room was sufficient and the bed was comfy.

When we arrived we were greeted by an employee who seemed to be having a bad day and was super grouchy and huffing the whole time she checked us in. The location is in a pretty sketchy part of town (next to lots of bars/night clubs/strip clubs). I also was not aware that there’s a strip club connected to the hotel (right downstairs) and literally has a door that is open all evening/night that connects the strip club directly to the reception/elevator of the hotel! Did not like the fact that people hanging out in the strip club could come into the hotel and use the elevator right up to our room.

Perfect location, short way to bus, train and the city center. Nice and clean quiet room. It`s the best place to be if you like the night life. Night club on the ground floor and restaurant, bars and casinos in the area. Was able to check in early. Nice staff.

it is in the same building with a cabaret show place (gentleman club). the receptionist is never downstairs and you have to call them when you wanna make your check in. Also, the toilets were not in the rooms and you have to go off your room to go to the loo.

Not a good place to stay unless you are out all night

Room was fairly large, and it was quite clean. Bus stops very close to the hotel. The cleaning staff were quite friendly, and helped us even though it was out of their job scope.

Location is in the drinking/red light district, extremely un-family friendly. This wasn't reflected in the booking. Broken glass and leftover beer bottles everywhere on the roads leading to the hotel. Have to be very careful. No one at reception at all, and ringing the bell did not work. We had to wait for 30+ minutes (at 12pm) in order to leave our luggage, and we were informed this is normal for no one to be present as it was in between check out and in times. People drinking and going on at all hours of the night, shouting from outside the hotel (expected) and inside (not expected). Our external toilet door was spoiled and could not be locked at all. Was not able to change rooms.
