The food was fabulous, featuring a freshly cooked breakfast and an excellent carvery. Generous portions, no complaints whatsoever. The staff serving the carvery were friendly and so helpful.
parking an issue, expected to pay €10 an hour, room needed maintenance, eg, the toilet was loose, the tiles along the bath were unclean, the taps in the sink (the flow too high and the floor got wet. No bath mat, we were nervous getting into the bath for our shower. A shower only would have been better.

The Dalton Inn was very central to area we wanted to explore.
Breakfast was very nice.
More fruit and yoghurt for breakfast would be a nice addition.

The breakfast was ok. Location was good. Bathroom was clean.
Too many stairs. The carpet in the room was torn and very worn and not clean. The water pressure at the sink was too high. It sprayed all over the floor in the bathroom. The hotel could use an upgrade in many areas. The bed was saggy. Needs to be replaced.
