Mixed review - First the excellent: the staff, professional, efficient and so friendly. This is why I am recommending this hotel. Particularly in restaurant. Second, the food. Really good quality and decent value.
Next come the decent parts: bed was very comfortable and room was tended to each day. Overall the room was decent, if a little "tired" looking.
Finally the issues: bathroom is tiny and the step into bath to shower was much higher than normal. Very awkward. Definitely not for anyone with even mild mobility issues. Toilet did not flush properly and a request for it to be fixed did not result in a solution.
Rooms are extremely warm and stuffy, as was overall hotel. I got impression running costs were being kept on a very tight budget so AC in public areas was at a very low level. We were on 4th floor and the corridor had a constant and strong smell of food, which sometimes permeated into room.
Our room was at front of building and unfortunately it seems at night the local "boy racers" like to race up and down road outside. But as room was so hot we had to make a choice about keeping windows open for cool air, or closing them to shut out the noise of the local F1. Happened each of the three nights we were there.
So, for a short stay I do recommend. But get a room on second or third floor, at vack of building and check about access.

Loved our stay, a very convenient location with shops all around. The staff at reception were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless and very comfortable, it was warm but they gave me 2 fans which really helped. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff are lovely. I would happily return to this hotel.

Staff notice I had extended my stay within 30mins of my booking and had contacted me to ensure I got to keep the same room. Were all very friendly and when I requested faceclothes (you had to ask) they were in to room asap
