The free buffet breakfast was nice. Dinner seems a bit overpriced but since it's the only restuarant in the whole area, it wasn't a big deal. I think it gets filled quickly in the summer because of the hikers.

Nice rooms, situated close to the lake. In general good, but with 180 Pound per night and bed rather in the upper price range. Cleanness is average British Standard, meaning corners are usually slighly dusty, but in general OK.
The price was rather high. Location is behind a slighly elevated camp-ground.

Location for walking Ben Lomond is fantastic, you could not be closer. The room was sufficient, old fashioned and very hot but did the job, breakfast was as basic as it could be. Just under £500 for 2 nights was extortionate.
Service in the restaurant was terrible, no time to think or look at the menu, food came out super fast, no fresh food everything appeared to come from frozen, very little vegetables
