Villa Castiglione

The room and Villa are very well kept and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My kids loved running and playing in the olive groves. It was nice to have green outdoor space so close to Florence. The breakfast had fresh pastries, fresh juice, meat, cheese, eggs, yogurt, lots of cereals and a coffee and latte machine. I was very impressed with quality of the breakfast. Best included breakfast I've ever had. My only issue was that prior to the restaurant opening for dinner at 7:30, there is no food available here. With kids, that's tough.

We as re loving our stay here, peaceful with beautiful Tuscan views. The only problems are that the air-conditioning in the rooms doesn't work as it got very cold at night. Secondly, the antique style shower is not very practical.

Il luogo è molto bello e tranquillo, immerso nel verde. La struttura è in antico convento adibito ad albergo. Personale eccezionale. Camera grandissima con arredi particolari. La manutenzione è minima. Tuttavia la colazione era molto scarsa e scarsa qualità.

Had an amazing time staying at the property. Over all great location and staff. One recommendation: scrambled eggs were over cooked on all days we stayed there. But the cake selection at breakfast was quite decent. The cheese is kept with the sliced meat, it will be great if that can be separately kept for people who do not eat meat/ pork.
