Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit and pastries, and eggs and fruit.
The air con could not be turned down below 20 Celsius. I would’ve liked it at 18 for sleeping.

Traveled from Santa Maria Novella station to hotel via tram (just a couple of stops away) for a reasonable euro or two.
very close to the tram stop. Early arrival and room was immediately available which was a relief for us. Rooms were clean well appointed and comfortable. State of the art room occupancy indicator outside the room eliminated staff interruptions while resting (this should be employed by every hotel). Largest shower in Italy for us and backdrop was appropriate and amusing. The room was in my wifes words small and tight. For the limited time we stayed there was not an issue for me.

Booking.com does not list that the parking is additional to the room fee - 20 euros per night. Had I been aware of this on the Booking.com site I would have looked elsewhere. My single room was not refurbished so the photographs on the website did not reflect the room that I would be staying in. That said it was clean, quiet and comfortable (for something akin to the size of a prison cell)
