Cozy and full of character

Breakfast and hospitality were excellent. Lots of character in the public areas. The room furnishings were simple, but clean in the bathroom was especially spacious. I really enjoyed walking up to the castle ruins on the path just behind the hotel. In the early morning, the hallways smelled like fresh baked bread.

The hotel is traditional and charming, has friendly staff with good food and beer.

The location was nice and quiet surrounded by woods. The staff were friendly. The food in the hotel was very goods. Regional and I felt traditional of the region. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed.

The hotel is of an old style which might not be to everyones taste, but we thought it was charming.

Peaceful, but a short drive into K-town

The serene location was exactly what we needed to get over our jet lag. The hills are full of well-marked walking trails, with one leading up to the Humberg Tower. Our room was surprisingly large with the most amazing water pressure in the shower. The room overlooked the Biergarten, which we could not hear from our room. All staff were very friendly and helpful and the traditional German breakfast was delicious.

Warm and Inviting

Great place to relax away from city life. Peaceful. Yet, even the locals were enjoying the beer garden. We had 4 meals there in 2 days. All were good and a good value. Clean, comfortable rooms. Homey and warm atmosphere, beautiful setting.

No elevator. But you may receive help with luggage from staff as we did.

Fun Time at Family-Run Kaiserslautern Gasthaus -- Don't Miss the Biergarten!

Great stay in a K-town landmark with a superb beer garden and restaurant. We've always loved the family-run warmth of this place and quality of the farm-supplied food in the restaurant. We met old friends in the biergarten and were well tended.

Room was a little warm -- not easy to get circulation of air with windows on one side, could do with a fan to cool things off. Bed was comfortable but could have been softer. Finishes were nice.

Probably the best hotel in KL

Bremerhof is nicely located in the forest. In mornings and evenings, one can hear births singing. Perfect location for jogging. My room #3 was with the bath and very good internet. Breakfast is also very good

Grreat stay amdist the Nature

Overall a great stay. Room was clean and had all the required amenities. The location was very calm and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Great restaurant and biergarten too. Definitely recommend this place.

The noise isolation between rooms can be better as I could hear people talking from neighboring rooms.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Experience

We booked Hotel Bremerhof at the last minute to enjoy a June weekend in Germany in advance of a medical appointment on Monday. We found the accommodations perfectly in keeping with what one would expect in a German hotel of its class: immaculately clean, comfortable if basic, and well run. Our room overlooked the Biergarten; however, since it closes at 10PM and all guests seemed very courteous, noise was not a problem. After the staff finished quietly cleaning up (by about 11PM), complete silence reigned until morning (except for owls and other forest sounds). The staff themselves were all very accommodating and courteous; our limited and bad German was met with friendly and perfect English. Breakfast included the standard fare found in many German hotels: boiled eggs, breads, a selection of meats and cheese, confiture, cereals, juice, and coffee or tea. No complaints whatsoever, tho the coffee could use a little improvement. The Biergarten itself was a wonderful place to spend our first weekend of *freedom* after COVID restrictions had been lifted. While the food was basic, the family-and-friends oriented atmosphere, coupled with gorgeous weather made for a very enjoyable afternoon and evening. We travel often to Kaiserslautern and will add Hotel Bermerhof to our short list of preferred accommodation.

The shower, while clean as a whistle, is rather small, but, having experienced many of the same size in other hotels, it was no problem for us.
