Beautiful hotel. Only spoke to staff on phone to get check in instructions. They were easy but had trouble locating the room, there was no number on the door. Our room was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 little kids, they even had a pack n play ready. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, so it was a little messy outside. The rooms were a bit dingy, and the bathrooms were dated. I couldn't turn up the heat. Also, the towels were skimpy, and the bed was a little worn. Maybe the renovations will continue inside, too.

Hotel was fine - location was nice, just outside of Kaiserslautern, but there wasn't much immediately around the hotel. Check-in was different - my room key was in a lockbox, with the registration card. My check-out was early in the morning so I just dropped the key in another secure box.

Great little hotel in a great location, the breakfast was amazing and worth the extra $10. Wish the employees spoke better English but hey I’m in their country so I didn’t mind that much. Hotel is old so could use a little maintenance, but besides that I really did enjoy it.

Hotel Hasselberg is situated beautifully in Kaiserslautern, with a fantastic view over the valley which can be enjoyed at breakfast. The check-in went perfect, even if they had no staff in the reception upon arrival, the instructions given beforehand on how to check-in were impeccable. Very nice staff and a wonderful breakfast. It has everything you expect from a hotel!

Nice location with excellent staff who were always kind and went out of their way to accommodate me. The hotel was usually quiet and they had a good breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during my stay so I had to get other meals elsewhere. My biggest complaint is the WiFi was very poor and always going out.

I needed a safe, convenient place to stay after driving across Germany for an early morning meeting. It was exactly what I expected.

I called ahead and was able to check in late, which was nice. The guy at check in didn’t speak English but he was very friendly and used his phone to translate with me, which I appreciated. He even carried my bag up the stairs to my room for me. The room itself was basic. It was very roomy and had a very large mini-fridge. The bed was not very plush. When I turned the bedside lamp on the outlet shorted and I smelled a burning aroma. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.
